I first made the mistake of trying to restore my drivers license on my own without an attorney, I was rejected by the state and by doing so I unknowingly made my case much more difficult. STOP LOOKING, you have found the right guy. I don't need to give you my whole back story, but if you are looking for a lawyer because of what has happened behind the wheel, look no further. I hope you have already done some research on your own about DUI laws in Michigan and the lawyers who take such... cases. Maybe you have tried to rectify your case yourself with SOS (Secretary of State) with less than desirable outcome. I know the feeling! I did the paperwork myself, the SOS-257/258, and was shot down, TWICE. We are talking about a 15 year old DUI case in which I had received one DUI in Michigan and another in a different state while having a Michigan license. You want to talk about holding onto a vice grip on your life, Michigan will! I had done my own paperwork and due diligence for other DUI cases in my life from different states and they were a lot more painless and cheaper then what Michigan drags you through. Look, you are going to have to pay the piper, somehow, someday. Either with doing the marry-go-round with SOS, time and money spent on not having a license, or paying Mr. Granzeier for his time and service. Mr. Granzeier knows the laws, he is familiar with the judges in different counties that he has worked in, the officers at SOS and the sneaky little ways they operate and how they word questions to set you up for failure. Pay the piper, it sucks, but it's a whole lot nicer having your license again. Mr. Gandzeier will give you the time you need on the phone. He may also request additional services to be met for your case to have the best outcome. In my case, Mr. Gandzeier requested we move my case to another county because I was filing an out-of-state reinstatement driving privileges and it was going to just help add to a better outcome. Whatever circumstances may be needed for the best results in your case, just do it. Just do it! You want to win, right? I can't stress it enough, you are going to pay the piper. I used mike for a couple issues. While it pains me to admit i was having trouble with the law, mike never made me feel as if i were a criminal. My issues spanned over a twenty year period, DUI, suspensions, arrests, accidents while on suspension. Mike represented me in the accident on suspension, he ...got me out of it with a small fine and no moving violation. Recently he represented me in multiple DLAD hearings due to interlock violations.Every violation was dismissed and he got me my license to full restoration. Mr Granzeier was extremely knowledgeable and very specific in explaining to me what I needed to do in preparation for my case. He did so well with my initial case that I hired him again when it was time to have my device removed from my car and he did just as well the second time.
