After 30 years of not having my license I give the honor to Mike G for helping me get them back. As we know it’s really difficult to get your license back in Michigan. I used mike for a couple issues. While it pains me to admit i was having trouble with the law, mike never made me feel as if i were a criminal. My issues spanned over a twenty year period, DUI, suspensions, arrests, accidents while on suspension. Mike represented me in the accident on suspension, he ...got me out of it with a small fine and no moving violation. Recently he represented me in multiple DLAD hearings due to interlock violations.Every violation was dismissed and he got me my license to full restoration. Awesome attorney. First of all... let me say that I called many lawyers before finding this one. Many things stood out to me with him, compared to the others, that I instantly appreciated. First off, I liked that he does't have a smokers voice. Second, I liked that he picked up the phone, and on ...the first call, he had a list of about 20 questions he asked me, which made me think he was very thorough and well organized. Also, when he says he's going to do something (like call), he actually does it. You'd be surprised how lawyers will forget to call you back. Also, he sincerely cares about you and it shows through the conversations you have. I had some lawyers make me cry, call me a liar, and make me feel stupid, and Micheal does neither and he charged LESS than all those other jerks! He spends time with you and makes you feel comfortable to ask any questions you need. I'm kind of shy, so this was so important to me! My case was an out of state one, trying to get my license reinstated. I haven't had it for 7 years, and had tried once before without the help of a lawyer (not recommended). First, we put a case in by mail and got denied, so I decided to fight it. He gave me the pros and cons of doing it here or going to Michigan to do it. Going by what he said, I decided to go to Michigan. I am grateful to him, as I did get my license reinstated today! He was awesome to work with. He is smart, organized, and caring. I appreciate all that he did, as he was a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend! Also note that I never went to AA. So, if you've never gone, it is possible to still get your license back!
