I had talked to dozens of lawyers on the phone that do drivers license restoration. Mike was the only lawyer that I had spoken with that seem to know above and beyond about the license restoration process compared to the other lawyers I had spoken with on the phone. I know that the denial rate in Mic...higan is very high so I was on a mission to try to find the best license restoration lawyer in the whole state of Michigan and I found Mike and hired Mike. In my opinion and in the research that I did Mike is the best license restoration lawyer in the whole state of Michigan. He is well worth the money because he delivers. I had been without a Michigan drivers license for slightly over 2 years. Mike got me a restricted drivers license with interlock. I want to point out that I live in Michigan and I am on non-reporting probation in another state and that I had no recent AA meetings. My case was harder to win because I was on probation and had no recent AA support. I just have my friends and family for support. The other lawyers I talked to before I hired Mike would not even take my case because I am still on non-reporting probation for my 2nd OWI in another State. Some said call me back when you get more recent AA support. AA meetings were not for me. I found my own way to be sober and with the support of friends and family. I was told I would be denied and to call back when you are off of probation. Well, Mike was the only lawyer that wanted to take my case and had the confidence of winning even though I was still on probation for OWI and had no recent AA meetings. Mike still got me a restricted license without recent AA meetings and while still being on probation for OWI. Mike answered all my questions I had, prepared me for what to say and what not to say at the hearing, was always available for any questions I might have, very easy to talk with on the phone or in person, I felt comfortable talking with him, he is extremely detailed, very professional from day number 1 of talking to him. Mike goes above and beyond in his work as a drivers license restoration lawyer. I highly recommend Mike if you are trying to get your drivers license back and that you are truly 100 percent sober like I am. Don't make the mistake and try to represent yourself. Hire Mike like I did and let him help big time to get your drivers license back. I will most definitely be hiring Mike a second time in about a year from now when I am eligible for another hearing to go back at it and to get my full drivers license. My particular case was very complex. I've had two offenses and this was to be my fifth hearing spanning over a decade. I had retained the services of two different attorneys in the past and even tried to go it alone on one occasion. Even though I had made significant lifestyle changes, I was very ...nervous about applying for this hearing because I had some interlock issues. I reached out to a friend of mine that happens to be an attorney and has handled license restoration cases to see if he would represent me, and before I could finish giving him the details he told me to call Mike. He said that Mike would be the best attorney for me. I could see an immediate difference between Mike and the attorneys that I had hired in the past. Other attorneys basically cashed my check and showed up on the date of the hearing. He was extremely knowledgeable about the process. To the point that when I discussed with him what past Hearing Officers had said to me, he could tell me exactly which Hearing Officers had said what. Don't be surprised by the amount of attention to detail he will ask from you, and you may ask yourself, "Is this really necessary?" The answer is an emphatic YES. Mike explained why all of this is so important, and he kept me on track to make sure that I got these things done. He was in constant communication with me throughout the process. I never had to wonder what was going on with my case. Knowing what I now know about this process, I would never even consider another attorney. While there are no guarantees with these hearings, Mike was successful in getting my license fully restored. He is your best chance at getting your license back, so do yourself a favor and hire him. You will be glad that you did.

Mike represented me today, 5/26/17. Given my circumstances, I truly believe my odds became more favorable having Mike as my attorney. He seemed to pay great attention to detail, and he was very precise and organized. My two favorite things were 1. He not only explained the proper way to do or say som...ething, he also explained WHY what he is telling you is appropriate. And 2. I felt comfortable talking to him. To me, that is extremely important as honestly is possible without judgement. Mike was efficient at making phone calls to me, as well as returning my within a timely matter. This avoided much worry for me. Mike told me everything I could do to help my case. He was more than helpful. If for some reason needed, I would hire him again. Awesome attorney. First of all... let me say that I called many lawyers before finding this one. Many things stood out to me with him, compared to the others, that I instantly appreciated. First off, I liked that he does't have a smokers voice. Second, I liked that he picked up the phone, and on ...the first call, he had a list of about 20 questions he asked me, which made me think he was very thorough and well organized. Also, when he says he's going to do something (like call), he actually does it. You'd be surprised how lawyers will forget to call you back. Also, he sincerely cares about you and it shows through the conversations you have. I had some lawyers make me cry, call me a liar, and make me feel stupid, and Micheal does neither and he charged LESS than all those other jerks! He spends time with you and makes you feel comfortable to ask any questions you need. I'm kind of shy, so this was so important to me! My case was an out of state one, trying to get my license reinstated. I haven't had it for 7 years, and had tried once before without the help of a lawyer (not recommended). First, we put a case in by mail and got denied, so I decided to fight it. He gave me the pros and cons of doing it here or going to Michigan to do it. Going by what he said, I decided to go to Michigan. I am grateful to him, as I did get my license reinstated today! He was awesome to work with. He is smart, organized, and caring. I appreciate all that he did, as he was a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend! Also note that I never went to AA. So, if you've never gone, it is possible to still get your license back!

I haven’t driven for over a decade. I have some Minor In Possessions and 2 D.U.I.s on my record. I tried many years back to get my restricted license with interlock only to be denied. I had A.A., sponsor, records of attending, letters of support, etc. Turn out it was a bad substance abuse evaluation ...that my lawyer (not Mike) didn’t notice. I don’t think he even looked. It took me about a decade to try again. I researched and interviewed at least a dozen lawyers. When I spoke with Mike...I felt confidant and comfortable and decided to hire him. I’m glad I did. After over a decade of not having a driver’s license, I am now back behind the wheel. I was granted the best possible restricted license with the ever so lovely interlock device. It should be noted that I did not have A.A. or any other alternative program when I went for my 2nd try. My last year in A.A. was some years back. Honestly, I was shocked when I got the result. I felt my hearing didn’t go very well at all. But when I read the result and the hearing officer’s account of what was said and what his opinion of me was…I couldn’t believe it was the same hearing. It was nothing but praise for me. I did a lot of work and self preparation for this hearing but, I honestly believe that if I didn’t have Mike to council me through it and make sure every T was crossed and every I was dotted...that I would’ve been denied a 2nd time. Mike has his way of doing things…and it’s for a reason. He looks at all your records and you as a individual and councils and prepares you accordingly to your unique history, record and personality. He was always very friendly, informative, courteous, respectful and professional on the phone and in person. He was very prompt in getting back to me and there are never any "dumb questions/concerns". I am grateful to the man who recommended Mike to me and now I wish to do the same to you. I have been taken advantged of by multiple lawyers in my life. I cant express how grateful I am to Mike...He is the first lawyer to care so much about his job that you can really feel it.
