Seamless

I filed a Chapter 13 with Charlie in January of 2019. I was young, overwhelmed, and terrified but after my first appointment, I truly felt like things could get better for the first time in years. Charlie is extremely knowledgeable, and very importantly, knows exactly how to explain each step in a way that is easy for anyone to understand. He was very thorough when assessing my situation so we could figure out the absolute best course of action for me to take. Whenever I was there for an appointment, it felt almost like he had nothing else to worry about that day. However long it took to get through what we needed to was how long it took, never felt even a little bit rushed. He is very professional, but one of the absolute most important things to me is that he is also able to maintain a more easy-going demeanor. From almost the first minute I met him, that alone made me feel a huge sense of relief, even without knowing what we were going to come up with as far as my plan. Two years later, I still feel that relief, and it’s absolutely wonderful. Thank you Charlie!!

Charlie is thee best!!!!

Charlie and his team is thee ABSOLUTE BEST! I was extremely scared and had no prior knowledge concerning bankruptcy and the staff made me feel so comfortable and answered all my questions. My employment wages were being garnished and I was in the process of being evicted and Charlie and his staff got me 90 days worth of my garnished income back and prevented my eviction. Pick this lawyer

In 2015 I found myself on a hard spot and was thinking about filing for bankruptcy. I called serveral lawyers and met with a lawyer in Livonia. After looking everything over the lawyer said I had no choice but to file chapter 13. Then I met with Charles. He looked everything over and was able to file for chapter 7. He staff was great and they prepared me for everything. When I went to court I noticed how a lot of lawyers did not prepare their clients for court at all. I even saw the lawyer I met with from Livonia and his client was having a diffecult time. Do yourself a favor and meet with Charles.

Thanks Kevin - The unfortunate truth is that many lawyers either will not take the extra time to see if you are qualified for a chapter 7 or are not motivated to qualify you as they make more money selling you a chapter 13 which bring in 4 to 5 times more in attorney fees or they simply do not have the experience or knowledge to qualify you. Lawyers should guiding you toward the chapter of bankruptcy that you qualify for rather than the chapter that makes them the most money.

Definitely Recommend

Sadly, we started a Chapter 13 with a very inexperienced attorney which costed us dearly! Then we ended up with a super expensive group from Southfield. Finally, after much frustration, I researched online and found Charles Schneider! I loved what I read and after speaking to him was convinced this would be the best move we made. And it was! We learned a bunch of things and while never a "great experience" to not be in total control of your money, it was certainly refreshing! If you're stuck financially, this is the attorney for the best way to get unstuck! Appreciated all the help Charles! Also Nicholoas' and Linda's time in closing this out for us:).

5/5 Would Recommend

I did a consult with Mr. Schneider about a week ago on bankruptcy options. Although I am not proceeding right now, it's still an option I'm keeping open for the future and if I do, I'm coming back here. Charles has a ton of experience and is very knowledgeable about the law, among other things. For a free consult we probably talked for close to three hours, long after the office had closed, on a variety of topics from my specific case to fencing and philosophy. I'd go back just for the conversation.

Chapter 7 Bankruptcy

I hired Mr Schneider to filed Chapter 7 for me. I was very pleased with his knowledge. Everything went extremely well and very fast. He was there when I had to meet with the creditors which made me relax. Now my Bankruptcy is finished and he sent me a discharge notice in the mail. I will get my final papers from the court within a couple weeks. You would make a smart move in hiring Mr Charles Schneider for your bankruptcy.

Highly Recommend

Mr. Schneider provided extraordinary service. I hired him because I was hit with a wage garnishment that was going to cause me to lose my house. My bankruptcy was filed immediately and the wage garnishment continued even after paperwork was submitted to stop it. Mr. Schneider went above and beyond to retrieve the garnishment and return it back to me.

Thank you for your outstanding review and your patience with the legal system on getting your money back from a collecting attorney who should have known better than trying to retain his garnishments. Those who file bankruptcy don't know that a red light is put up to tell collectors to stop collecting on the debt. The attorney that you hire should not also be the cop to enforce the red light. In this case we were. We were also fortunate to be able to make the collection attorney pay us to make him stop. We were happy to be the cop as well.

Great Experience

I have had very little experience in the legal system. However a situation arose in which I needed help. The local attorney said our problem needed help that he felt he could not provide. He recommended Charles Schneider. When my wife and I stopped by his office late one afternoon to schedule an appointment, Mr. Schneider said, "come on in, let's talk." From that meeting on I knew we were in good hands. Mr. Schneider handled our case skillfully and kept us aware of every detail. He was personable, friendly, and easy to access. Best Bankruptcy Lawyer

Charles and his staff was able to do a great job in my Chapter 13 that turn into a Chapter 7. The staff was polite and professional with a great deal of knowledge. IMAGINE BELIEVE BE BRAVE

Imagine the shock and anger after being told by the Court Trustee maybe I needed another attorney...talk about the biggest RED flag!! Fast forward......First meeting with Mr. Schneider, which took me 3 months to have the brevity to even call thee office!! Off to my first meeting with Mr. Schneider, explained what had been taking place. ( the financial, physical and emotional repercussions I have and still am experiencing). Mr. Schneider said incredulously "why ma'am were you.....???? at which time the tears flowed and continued as Mr Schneider explained that perhaps I had been wronged on not one but perhaps 2 issues, WOW!!! His expertise, awards, reviews further verified and confirmed indeed I had been referred to someone whom I could slowly gain trust in....he even admitted quietly and humbly that it would be hard for someone in my place. to trust him....
