I was very happy to have Elizabeth represent me in a divorce case. She was honest and clear, and she obviously has very good experience. I retained Elizabeth in 2014 for a divorce matter involving 3 minor children. While I imagine that nobody enjoys going through the divorce process, I will say that I felt confident and well-informed throughout the often arduous process. Full credit for that goes to Elizabeth’s care and expertise in... her handling of my case. My case ultimately settled during mediation, but also required court presence concerning various motions. I can say that Elizabeth is as comfortable in a courtroom setting as she is in a mediation setting. When in court, she was a zealous (and successful) advocate, achieving great results for me. When in mediation, she really helped to brainstorm possible resolutions and provided me with very objective and well-reasoned advice, even when it wasn’t always what I wanted to hear. Divorce is a process that can bring out the worst in people (as I personally experienced and have witnessed in friends/family during divorce), and my divorce was no exception. I will say that Elizabeth did a great job reeling me in when I needed it and helped me keep my focus on my children. She is level-headed and thoroughly pragmatic. I hope to not require her services in the future, but if I do I know that I have the trust and confidence in Elizabeth to look out for my best interests.
