I thought I found someone honorable but instead got duped out of 3000.00 dollars

I've been thinking about how you handled everything with me; and truthfully it doesn't sit right with me. When I hired you I thought you were a honorable person, so much for that right? We had an agreement that if I took a deal you would only charge me 1500.00 and if we took it to trial the fee would... be 4500.00 but instead you took 4500.00 of my money and told me to take a plea deal. I don't expect to get a response but I really felt like I should express how I feel about what you did. You even went as far to say when I brought it up that you would give me some of my money back; well what happened Joseph 3000.00 and not one penny was sent back to me. I really wanted to have faith in the judicial system; at least faith in you as my lawyer. I thought you would do right by me and my kids but you literally told me you felt like you deserved to keep money instead of honoring your word. Months; Heck almost a year has passed and still no word about my money. I feel you took advantage of me because I was vulnerable and in a legal fight. I never have been in any trouble and yes I messed up and handled a stressful mental health emergency poorly. That is no excuse for not being a person of your word.. I am sure you are going to feel that my review only highlights the negative parts of the experience but truthfully it's hard to think of any of the positive notes that came from you as you took something from me and then justified it. I had the exact same deal on the table when you were hired but hired you because my family and I thought it would be good to hire someone who we could actually get clarification on things. 1000.00 of 3000.00 that money wasn't even mine; it was my aunt's money. Smh. You really had both of us fooled huh. Look Joseph I've called, left messages in attempt to reach you and have not received any type of response or my money. My only question is why Joseph, did I or rather we mean that little to you that 3000.00 was worth taking from someone who is trying their hardest, trying to be better, being present in childrens' lives who fathers' couldn't care less. See I'm aware none of those things were or are your problem but I thought at the minimum you would care enough to not lie to me and run off with my money. I'm not even going to get into details on how you were late to a court hearing. However what is a important thing to bring up is the contract in which you cleverly kept our agreement out of; and said it was just a flat rate. This was of course after stating you wouldn't do anything else unless I signed your agreement. You assured me that it was a technicality and proceeded to gaslight me about how our agreement monetary-wise would be based on whether or not I took a plea deal. So now all that is left for me to say is I wish I had a better experience hiring you. I had high hopes. I pray that you don't ever do anyone else like you did me and if you have; I hope they speak up about it. I recall speaking with you once and you said something about doing good deeds; I wonder if you feel the same about misdeeds as well. I wish you well Joseph. May you have peace and God favors you. Rest assured I hold no grudge towards you as I made a decision that placed me in the situation that made me have to reach out for legal representation; unfortunately I chose you.

Ashley, I must admit that it is frustrating to see someone you fought so hard for, spent countless hours on the phone with, SUCCESSFULLY reunited them with their child who was taken away from them, resolve their matter and put them in a MUCH BETTER position than before they met you, act in this totally unwarranted and disrespectful way. This review came out of NO WHERE. I get that times are tough, but extorting money and defaming the person who cared about you and your family when NO ONE else did, is just not cool. It should be noted that this client was referred to me by another previous happy client and this client is the ONLY review that isn't 5 stars - really makes you think.... First, I want to reinforce and emphasize that my commitment to my clients is unwavering. I always conduct myself ethically, with great care, respect and compassion for all my clients. All of my reviews have been 5-stars across the board and continue to be, with the exception of this one, single, outlier client. And as angry as this makes me, I actually feel sorry that this person thought that writing a 1-star review and demanding money was a kind and respectful thing to do after everything this client knows I did for her. Something must be going on in her personal life to feel that attacking the person who helped her get her life on track is something she should do. All of my clients have been incredibly happy and grateful that I represented them - even this one, until she decided she was somehow entitled to some money back over a year later and after an incredible representation experience. And she rates me at 1- star? Not even a 3 or 4 star. The proof is in the public record demonstrating how great of a position I put this client in and how hard I fought for her. Even the judge, prosecutor and probation officers will tell you. I worked tirelessly to ensure that every client receives the best possible representation and I am proud of the results I have achieved on every client’s behalf, especially this one. Putting a family back together is no small undertaking. Regarding the matter of fees, I absolutely refute and condemn the suggestion that I would ever deceive or take advantage of a client. I have always been transparent and forthright about my fees and the scope of my representation. My clients always get much more than their money's worth with me. It's never been about the money with me. Just like everyone else, my agreement with this client was done so with this client’s full knowledge, consent and signature. I find it troubling that this client would suggest otherwise. Ashley, it’s frustrating and disheartening to read that you felt as though I did not live up to your expectations, especially after months and months of strong representation, personal mentoring and an amazing outcome. I reunited you and your son after being separated due to this legal proceeding, reduced your initial charges and put you on the path to personal success and I am proud of the work I did for you. The rest is up to you. Finally, I want to address the suggestion that I have been unresponsive to your attempts to contact me. I can assure you and those reading this that I have no record of any outstanding fees or reimbursement owed to you. I reached out to you to have a conversation about this, but you immediately demanded thousands of dollars out of me. It’s just weird and fishy. Nevertheless, I am always available to my clients, and I would be happy to speak with you again to address any concerns you have, and to create harmony and rectify this situation. I hope that my response here has made it clear about where I stand with respect to this one, single, past, and previously very happy client. While I am disappointed with this negative review, I am confident that my track record and reputation speaks for itself, and that future clients will see through the baseless accusations made in this review. Peace, Love and Many Blessings to all

Best attorney I could’ve possibly hired

I was facing a felony charge for possession of a controlled substance. Mind you I have previously had an OWI charge. Joe was referred by a friend and as soon as I contacted him, he gave me the rundown of what to expect and what I’ll have to do to get through it. The entire time he was transparent... about the case and I felt like I could trust him completely with my life. Throughout my case I truly felt like I had a friend that was representing me, which makes it a lot less stressful and puts you at ease. He reassured me that he would get me the best case scenario, and he did. He was able to get my sentencing reduced to a misdemeanor which is not visible to the public, and will be removed from my record within 5 years. Not only that, I only received 6 months probation and possible early discharge. This is rare, I am still in shock at how smoothly this case went. Just be completely transparent and honest with him; whatever legal trouble you might be in, he can get you through it. If I could give this man 10 stars I would! Thank you so much Joe!

Lawyer That is Awesome in all aspects.

From the First time that my wife and I talked to him, we knew he was a man that knew the law. Joe was not only knowledgeable in law but was also kind and sharing. Joe has worked hard on my case since July of this year. He has kept me informed with all issues concerning my case. I was facing my 2nd DU...I and a felony charge. Joe and his work on my case has been a blessing for me as he has gotten my charges dropped to an owvi and NO felony charge. Not only has he helped me in my court case but has been there and took his time to talk, not only about the case but on being a better person. When looking for a great lawyer you need not look any further Joe Arabbo is the lawyer that will get the job done. My wife and I can't say enough how Joe has worked on my case. Joe made it easy for me on his fees and let me pay over time. He is not a lawyer that just takes your money to represent you he follows through. He will not leave you hanging till your court date he is there for YOU.
