I consulted with Eric regarding my case, he was very impatient and shows no compassion to fathers. I don’t understand how he can advertise as a supporter of fathers rights. It’s a gimmick, and marketing scheme. It’s evident he just leaches on to easy cases to earn a living. Based on his tone and deme...anor, I think the positive reviews here a made up. I do not recommend.

I hired Eric for my divorce case. He misrepresented me in child custody, spousal support and alimony. He just charged me tens of thousands of dollars. Even few years after the divorce I am still bleeding and paying for the issues he messed up. In simple words he is just a vulture coming to eat the co...rpses of a dying family. For child support he completely lied to me when I hired him and he did nothing what he promised. For alimony he completely kept me in dark and made the worst possible deal for me. BUT yes - he was very professional in charging me the money. He charged me four times than what he told me in the beginning. Now I know the system after dealing with the system for few years (basically because of Eric's irresponsibilities), the same could have been done in much better way in one fourth of the money. I request Avvo to add negative stars to rating as it hurts to give him even one star.

I had a challenging custody case where I took a job out of state and was fighting for the court to approve my son moving with me full time, only having visitation in MI with his mother during school breaks and vacations. I had spoken to several other lawyers before Eric, and none of them seemed to ha...ve confidence in my case. After speaking with Eric, he made me feel comfortable with my chances. Ultimately, after several months of court issues, we won the case and my son moved with me. The price was considerably more than I was prepared for, but, had I gone with the lower cost/less confident options and lost I would always regret not choosing to hire the best. He communicates well, is direct, and knows his stuff... All things I would want/expect from a Lawyer. I also think he is a nice/friendly person who takes an interest in his clients, but when considering a lawyer that is fairly low on my priority list as I want a lawyer that will win so that aspect is just a "bonus" in my eyes. All that being said, my son is with me, he is very happy and has straight A's in his new school. Hopefully, I never NEED to talk to Eric again, but if something ever happened and I need a family law lawyer again, I wouldn't hesitate to call him.

Eric was very helpful representing me with a motion to review parenting time and custody. He always responded promptly and provided great counsel through the whole process. He is very well spoken and presented himself and my argument very well in court and I was able to get most of what I was asking ...for. Great!

Was going to court for child support and custody. From male stand point you have to have a great attorney to fight this battle. I was very satisfied with the outcome of it all. Very professional, straight to the point and gets it done. Thank u for all the help and getting me through this case quickl...y and efficiently.
