I met and hired Sam Bennett to represent me for a criminal background expungement. Mr. Bennett got the expungement approved and I no longer have a criminal background. Mr. Bennett was honest in his responses when I had a question and did not just "Blow Smoke". When I had a question he answered quic...kly and professionally. Mr. Bennett told me upfront what was required (paper work/forms and of myself) and gave me the option to get the required paperwork myself or allow him or his staff to retrieve it. When I chose to get the required information myself Mr. Bennett explained to me where to go, what information I needed, and who to see to accomplish what needed to be done. My son was arrested for a DUI and I never had any experience before where we needed a lawyer. A friend recommended Sam and I left a message on a Saturday at his office. He called me back right away and talked a long time on the phone. He patiently answered all my questions and made me feel so much be...tter. He worked with my son, gave excellent advice on what should be done before the arraignment and sentencing. He drove a two hour trip in terrible weather to the courthouse and was there on time. He was able to get some of the charges dropped. I emailed and called him frequently and he always took time for me. I never felt rushed. I highly recommend Sam Bennett.

I recently was charged with two counts of criminal sexual misconduct that were brought about by a family member. I had found a video of Attorney Raymond.C on you tube explaining what the charges meant, and how they could effect me. After meeting Ray and Sam at their office I made the great decision t...o hire them right on the spot. After the initial meeting Sam had taken point on my case. Sam gave me outstanding legal advice leading up to the pretrial. Through out the entire proceeding I always felt like i was a priority. From making me feel at ease with all of this, to returning all my phone calls with haste. Sam is by far the best lawyer I have ever met. He is genuine and compassionate. He is truly a rare find in the profession. I highly recommend him. I was on probation in Oakland County (the strictest county in Michigan) for Operating While Intoxicated (OWI) and within a few months I was arrested fo...r Disorderly Intoxication. I had violated my probation previous to that arrest by lying to the judge about driving when I was not supposed to and I spent 5 days in the Oakland County Jail (Sam was NOT my lawyer at the time) because of some bad advice from a different lawyer. I was seriously looking at 90 days in jail for the probation violation and 30 days would have been a gift. Sam began giving me good advice on the phone before I had even hired him. He approached my case in a caring and compassionate way and he was much more helpful than every other lawyer I had talked to. He sincerely cared about helping me turn my life around and helping me with my sobriety from the beginning. At my probation violation hearing, because of how well Sam had prepared me and because of how well Sam represented my case, I did not get ANY jail time. I was ordered to continue with the group therapy program Sam had advised me to go into and to continue going to AA. That was it! No extension on my probation! Nothing else! I could not believe it! The result of the hearing has helped me to maintain my sobriety and helped me to begin to turn my life around for the better.
