To illustrate how Sam skillfully handled our case: Despite evidence against my son documented in a police report, Sam was able to negotiate a reduction in the charges, the most serious by far of the three charges was dropped. And very importantly for the remaining two charges Sam was able to negotiate the application of HYTA (Holmes Youthful Trainee Act). This is important because under the terms and conditions of HYTA there won’t be any public record of my son’s case. So when my son eventually graduates from college and applies for jobs, his court case won’t be revealed during any background checks. Without HYTA, a public record of my son’s past legal problem as a young man had the potential to hamper future employment opportunities which would be very unjust. As part of the plea deal, Sam was able to negotiate a probationary period of only one year, which is the shortest that could be expected.

After getting multiple drug charges in one arrest I wasn’t sure who to hire to represent me. I want to start off by saying that lawyers/attorneys, unfortunately, get a bad rep off the line. Sam Bennett, however, breaks all of those stereotypes. Sam is very honest and straightforward kind of person. He goes over and above all obligations to help out his clients.... Sam took an espungeme...nt case that I had from which Ray had originally fought for me back over 6 years ago. I was very nervous going into my court date. Sam was very positive-minded and assured me that we'll be fine. With the justice system, nothing is 100%, however, Sam's assurance is as close to it as you can get. Samuel represented me in place of Raymond for the end of my case. He's very easy to talk to and is a straight shooter.
