Jordan S. Bolton

Jordan S. Bolton is an Equity Member in Clark Hill’s Litigation Practice Group. He has been with Clark Hill since 2002, is the Chairperson of the National Recruiting Committee (Summer Associate Program), leads various corporate culture initiatives, maintains a leadership role in the firm’s E2 initiative (helping start-ups and other early-stage ventures manage their legal spend), and is principally resident in the firm’s Birmingham, Michigan office.

Jordan helps business leaders, in-house counsel, and individuals remove barriers to success by providing creative dispute resolution and transactional services. Core to Jordan’s work is a national complex commercial litigation practice (emphasizing on consumer, contract, copyright, fraud, real estate, shareholder, supply chain, and trademark matters). In that capacity, Jordan has been called upon to serve clients in litigation pending in dozens of state and federal courts across the country, including substantial experience litigating matters in Michigan’s business courts. Jordan also maintains a robust outside general counsel practice for his clients who have varied legal needs but are not yet ready for in-house counsel. In that regard, Jordan’s clients appreciate his ability to call upon his vast network to advance his clients’ business interests. Finally, having built a reputation for creative dispute resolution, Jordan is called upon by his colleagues to serve as a mediator and as an arbitrator. Prior to joining Clark Hill, Jordan gained significant courtroom experience holding positions with Judge George C. Steeh of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, the Free Legal Aid Clinic, and the 46th District Court of Southfield, Michigan.
