Dax J. Miller (working in the Keith D. Collier Orlando office at the time) was the fourth bankruptcy attorney I contacted Early in 2014 based on a recommendation from a coworker. To be honest, I had just about given up on the affordability and transparency of Bankruptcy firms out there. I called the ...downtown Orlando office and booked an appointment within a few days. From the very first moment I met Dax to the final handshake shortly after meeting with the Trustee in the Federal Courthouse, I was completely at ease, relieved and confident in Mr. Miller's services. His ability to accommodate my hectic work schedule by communicating via phone and email per my request helped me TREMENDOUSLY. My case was a bit tricky due to a number of factors but Dax went the extra mile to facilitate my filing and educated me on every step of the process. His fees were reasonable, fit into my budget, and worth every penny. I live in Daytona Beach and was very reluctant to drive all the way to Orlando/Winter Park just to find an attorney for my bankruptcy. After my free phone consultation Attorney Dax Miller, I was sold! Mr. Miller talked to me like a regular human being. He didn't "dumb it down" or make me feel like a... failure. He was very polite but also very direct. At one point during our consultation, I started rambling because I was so upset about my wages being garnished. Mr. Miller (politely) cut me off and reassured me that I had options and that I didn't have to simply "lie back and take it". The company garnishing my wages didn't even serve me or notify me that there was lawsuit against me!!! I met Mr. Miller when I filed my bankruptcy case with The Law Offices of Keith D. Collier. Apparently Mr. Miller runs the Orlando Office for Mr. Collier. I had a free phone consultation with Mr. Miller before coming into the office. When I came to the office, I met with Mr. Miller for about an hou...r and he was able to file my case the very next day. Mr. Miller then took care of sending all of my documents to my trustee so that when I had my hearing, everything was already taken care of. Mr. Miller met me at my hearing about 15 minutes in advance and went over all of the questions the trustee might ask. My hearing took about 2 minutes (not exaggerating!). I then complete a short exit counseling class and my bankruptcy was over! It was the first legal proceeding that I have ever been involved in and I think that without Mr. Miller's care and attention, it would have been a much more stressful life event. I have Mr. Miller and Mr. Collier to thank for the fact that I am debt free and ready to rebuild my life. I would definitely recommend this attorney to anyone looking for great legal representation at a reasonable price. One last note was that I was only charged $400.00 to get my case filed and then I paid Mr. Miller and Mr. Collier all of my attorney's after the case was filed and I was protected. I spoke to three firms before finding Mr. Collier's and no one else was willing to do such a deal. Awesome!
