Anna Christodoulakis was born and raised in Valparaiso, Indiana.  After graduating with honors from Chesterton High School in 2004, Anna chose to attend Valparaiso University where she earned a major in Political Science concentrating in both International Relations and Legal Studies, and a minor in Art History.  At Valparaiso University, Anna was active in various Honor’s Societies including Phi Beta Kappa, Pi Gamma Mu Academic Honor Society, Pi Gamma Mu International Honor Society in Social Sciences, Pi Sigma Alpha Political Science Honor Society, and Alpha Lambda Delta Freshman Honor Society.  At Valparaiso University, Anna also had her first experience in a judicial setting as first a representative of the University Judicial Board and then later as the University Judicial Board Coordinator. Anna graduated from Valparaiso University summa cum laude in 2008.

 

In the fall of 2008, Anna began her legal studies at DePaul University College of Law in Chicago Illinois.  While at DePaul, Anna was very active in various law student organizations such as the Student Bar Association and Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity.  Anna also served as the treasurer of the Hellenic Law Student Association and as secretary of the Business and Corporate Law Society.  Anna graduated from DePaul University College of Law in May of 2011 with a Juris Doctor degree.  Anna took the Indiana Bar Exam in July of 2011 and was admitted to practice law in the state of Indiana on October 14, 2011.  She is also admitted to practice in the United States District Courts in both the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana.

 

In addition to her education, Anna has also garnered legal experience working in various courts in Northwest Indiana as either a court intern or a clerk.  In 2007, Anna served as the Civil Court Intern for the Merrillville Town Court of Judge George C. Paras, covering Small Claims cases.  In 2008, Anna rejoined the Merrillville Town Court as a Criminal Misdemeanor and Traffic Court Intern.  In 2009, Anna served as a Civil Court Intern in the Lake County Clerk’s Office under Clerk Thomas Philpot where she assisted parties in filing protective orders, prepared complaints for service, and generally maintained the court case filing system.  In 2010, Anna served as a clerk in the Lake County Circuit Court in which she conducted research and drafted memos for Judge Lorenzo Arredondo, Magistrate Richard F. McDevitt, and Magistrate Cheryl Williamson.

Outstanding
Anna Christodoulakis is an amazing lawyer and I hate that we were never able to meet in person. Anna always kept us informed via e-mail and phone as we were clients of hers from 14 hours away. Anna was able to get guardianship terminated. She worked hard to make contact with us, and the guardians as much as possible, and set up meetings with the others so that we did not have to make several trips to Indiana. We recommend Anna to everyone :)

Great experience!
My husband & I needed estate planning. Anna's advice was very helpful when writing our wills. All forms were available for us to review when promised. She accommodated our work schedules when setting up meetings. It was a pleasure to work with her.

Anna made everything so painless and easy. She explained everything so I could understand and answered all my questions. Very Satisfied
Anna was straight forward, honest, and very knowledgeable. After reviewing our case together, she proposed our strategy and plan of action. She answered all my questions and concerns with understanding. She came across as sincere and deliberate; and informed me of changes in that case that came along... EXCELLENT!
Attorney Anna was excellent. She listen to our concerns and wishes and made recommendations that, to be honest, we didn't even think about. We were very satisfied with the results and if we need anything else that involves our legal system, we will definitely call Attorney Anna.

Estate Planning
My husband and I needed to update our wills for our current circumstances and contacted Anna to help us with that project. She was very knowledgeable about the kinds of things that we needed. She asked us pertinent questions, then also suggested three other documents that we should have - health care representative, power of attorney, and living will - all of which she prepared for us. We were able to communicate electronically, both with messages and also to proofread the documents that she prepared. We were impressed with her intelligence, diligence, and professionalism.

Satisfied clients
After returning to the area after eight years in FL, we talked about updating our wills and while eating breakfast at a local restaurant, saw a advertisement for Anna's practice and decided to setup an initial consultation appointment. Writing a Will
We hired Anna to write a Will. Not knowing much about the subject, Anna was very helpful. Anna offered us the whole package of a Will; Living Will; and Power of Attorney. I didn't feel as if she was trying to "sell" us extra items. I would recommend Anna, and would also use her for any issues that arise where an attorney would be required.

Anna was on top of handling my divorce and in getting it finalized in an efficient matter. She kept me informed on everything and I never stressed at any point during the dissolution proceedings. She's Awesome!

Got the job done!
Called Gordon A. Etzler and Associates after landing on their website, I wasn't expecting to talk to an attorney that day but got her on the phone right away. She explained the whole process, and I ended up hiring her over the phone. I didn't have to meet her once, she took care of everything. We talked mostly through e-mail and she was really good about communicating updates which I liked. She got the job done, highly recommend.

Happy with Anna's performance.
Anna was able to bringing my case to a successful and satisfactory conclusion. She was patient and professional in explaining the process, informed me of my options and gave good consul when then was more than one way to proceed. She kept me informed of the progress of the case from the beginning to the end as it moved through the system.
