Hired Chris to handle credit supplemental motion that was part of a 6 year divorce that included 100's of post decree motions. Chris not only was able to grasp 6 years of a very contentious case in our first meeting, he took over as lead attorney, and has won every motion since I hired him. He turned the tables 360 degrees and cleaned up the messes left by 2 other attorney's as well as mistakes I made while Pro Se.
He has been extremely fair with his billing hours, and has written some of the best memorandum's in support of motions that I have seen in this 6 year ordeal. I simply can't recommend Chris enough, and he is experienced with appeals as well, so that is one more added benefit to hiring him.
Hiring an appeals attorney and getting them up to speed on your case can be extremely expensive, with Chris you will never have to go through this. I am extremely well versed with attorneys, both in family court, and in business, and he is one of the best attorney's I have run across, and a truly good man to boot.

I hired Chris Buckley for a DUI charge and was promised that I wouldn't lose my license or serve any jail time. 6 months into the case Chris tells me he can no longer represent me and hands my case to another lawyer in his firm. Not only did I spend 30 days in jail, I lost my license for 6 months got a year of probation and lost my job. If I were smart I would have done my research and hired a criminal Attorney with much more experience! Please don't make the same mistake as me!

I hired Chris to Defend me in a law suit that ended up costing me everything I own. I was promised by Chris that he would be able to talk the Plaintiff into settling for a fraction of the claim. In the end I felt betrayed by my own attorney as if he made a deal with the Plaintiff that did not benefit me in any way. I lost everything and was forced to file bankruptcy due to the lack of effort put in by Chris. Of course I was upset when I received the news that I would lose the full amount of the claim and while trying to express my concerns with Chris he became very unprofessional and took it personal that I was unhappy with his lack of effort. I would not recommend this attorney to anybody for any type of case. J. Pagel

Relationship: Worked together on matter
I worked with Chris on numerous cased but one that sticks out involved a case in Howard County where our client was facing 5 cases with over 20 total charges and up to 40 years in prison. We ended up destroying the State's case and worked a plea for one year on a lesser included offense. Without our teamwork it wouldn't have been possible. I endorse this lawyer.
