Look elsewhere

I would have saved approxamately $10,000 just using my ex's attorney since Larry Stassin did not fight for anything even though saying he would put it in front of a judge. The case kept getting delayed. I was told because the opposing council had schedule conflicts. When I was present for a pr...e trial conference he told the judge the petitioner could not make it. The opposing council said "thanks Larry". Did he lie to me or to the judge in order to protect the opposing council? It was definitely one of us. There was a case before mine with the same opposing council and a party had died. Larry Stassin said "what do we do". The judge even said "you don't know"? When I mentioned the case to a different attorney I use that doesn't work in the field of this case he said I could use his name and ask why he isn't being more aggressive. I could go on but those instances can be proven. His communication is extremely poor and no explanations of anything. I have heard through other sources that this in known about him. Pay no attention to the "ethics" plaque hanging in his office.

Honest, Helpful and Understanding

I went to Larry for a personal matter and he was very helpful. He is smart, kind, and doesn't think he is better than other people, like some lawyers do. He does not sugar coat things either and offers what I believe to be good, straight forward, factual advice. I recommend Larry. While no good lawye...r is cheap, I feel he billed correctly and the money I spent was worth the advice and legal help. He is a good listener but also keeps you on track. Go see him if you need help with any type of family law.
