Retained Attorney Staton to assist my wife and I, as grandparents, in obtaining custody of our grandchildren. Although Attorney Staton said the right things during consultation, he did not help us obtain our stated goals. My biggest complaint, however, is the complete disregard for us as his clients ...by not returning our phone calls or e-mails in a timely manner. I don't know what the attorney code is regarding your clients, but I think 5 days to return phone calls is disrespectful. This happened multiple times. The only thing you can assume from that is that he was really not that interested in our case. In addition, the office staff was equally uninterested and not helpful during our short stint with the law office.
