I had two separate cases with her at one time. The outcome for one was BS. The other case she did very little and she used the money for the other case. She failed to keep me updated on the time and money spent. I finally receive it after requesting it many times. Now I owe more?! She is a joke of an... atty and don't know how she is still one. She's rude, she does not return calls, you can't get ahold of her, she's worthless! I will NEVER refer her to anyone. I didn't even want to give her a star.

I don’t even know where to start. I’ve had shared parenting with my ex for 8 years and we rotate every other week with our son. A few months ago our son came to me with some issues regarding his Dad and he no longer wanted to spend an entire week there. I struggled for a long time trying to decide i...f I was making the right decision. After trying to talk to my ex and requesting a mediation, I decided to hire Heather. My stomach was in knots, I was so torn. I prayed daily for God to guide me and help me make the right decisions, and I truly believe he answered my prayers by bringing Heather in. When I met with her I was very emotional, she walked me through the process, every step of what would happen and what my options were, with NO pressure at all. I cried and she consoled. I made her promise me that no matter how ugly things got or how angry or off focus I became, that my son would ALWAYS be her #1 focus, that she would fight for him, not for me, and that’s exactly what she did!! There were times that she said “ok, I understand you’re upset, but, we need to keep this about (son) and not about being angry with ex” Heather fought for my son like he was her own child, just as she promised! I’ve read a lot of the reviews, I’ve read how she didn’t return phone calls in a prompt manner or how she made a mistake on paper work, well, we are all human!! There were a couple of times I left a message and asked her to call me back and it took a few days, and that’s okay!!! She has a family and a life outside of her work, she was helping me with the most important thing in my life, the least I could do was be understanding and realize that I was not her only client! I appreciate the hard work she put in for my son, I can never repay her for what she did! Writing a check was nothing, it’s trying to figure out how to express my deep gratitude. I will never forget how she treated me and my son, she gave him a voice when his own father refused to listen. THANK YOU HEATHER, I pray that God blesses you and your beautiful family. If you need a passionate attorney, one that truly cares, I suggest you make the call!!!!!

Heather is by far the best lawyer; we've had. I have had my children in IL, AZ, TX & OH family courts (military moves) over 18 years. She is the hardest working for our needs/requests than any of the other lawyers we've hired. She has gone above and beyond for our case; even traveling out of state af...ter jumping through hoops to get her out of state bar accepted in the other state; then fighting, almost literally to get our case heard and ultimately won. She is extremely knowledgeable, honest, and prompt with responses. Heather has never told us that something was going to happen and then not happen; she is also very open about explaining what is/is not worth pursuing in terms of the court system. Word of mouth is definitely not sufficient enough to get her the praises she deserves for all that she has done for our family, but I will NEVER recommend another lawyer if I know she is an option. I tell everyone I can about her and about how great she treated us, my children and our case. She is also a guardian ad litem and wonderful with children! Ours were 16 and 13 when they spoke with her and both of them told us that she was very easy to talk to, not pushy or over stepping, and genuinely cared about what was important to them. No question worth hiring!
