Mark Jay Bamberger

I have known Mark for almost 10 years now and he has helped me significantly as a single mother. He’s very smart and knows how to play the cards right. He does truly care but will give it to you straight. Any concerns that you have, he will make sure you are answered. He is a family Man, wild hor...se on a Harley and caring about the animals such as wolves. He will be your wolf in the wolf pack. Mark is my spirit totem lol ! He’s our go to in our family and will remain that way till the end.

I hired Mark a few years back for a divorce which he helped me make things 50/50. Afterwards I filed contempt charges on the defendant and went to court on my own without counsel. The court granted my requests and found the other party in contempt. Mark helped with my divorce so I decided to hire him... again to help with a purge hearing to follow up with the contempt I previously had. He showed up to the first hearing trying to hold the defendant contempt again on the contempt I already had granted. The Judge was confused and stated we needed to motion for a “Purge” hearing. So Mark then requested a motion for Purge and a contempt motion. It really didn’t make sense and the judge was confused. The judge stated the defendant was not served the motions per the information on the docket. Mark said he had a personal server that served them. The Judge said it wasn’t on the docket. Mark did not have or bring any documented proof that he had a personal server. The Judge said we would have to continue the case and to have the motion served to the defendant. To top it off, without speaking to me first, Mark decided to tell the judge that his client (me) may want to dismiss this case all together. He never discussed this with me prior. After that I told him I wanted to do what the judge said, serve the motion and have the purge case. He said he would get that filed and served. To end it, I never received a bill, I kept asking and emailing him to send me a statement. I was willing to pay to continue, but he never sent me anything. He kept saying I didn’t owe anything yet and that I could handle the case myself.. He never filed the purge motion again or had it serve it, and he never got back with me. The docket eventually showed the case dismissed. In common terms, he pretty much ghosted me and lied. Big waste of time, this was like over 4 months of time. I had patience and gave respect to the man up until he lied and failed to follow through with what we originally discussed. I’m not going to tell anyone to not retain him. This was my experience. I’m sure he will have some sort of excuse to respond with like most do.

It’s been awhile since I’ve worked with Mark, but since a friend of mine was recently inquiring about an attorney & is going through a divorce, Mark was the first to come to mind. I had previously worked with two attorneys prior to working with Mark. The first, cost me a fortune and spent every dime ...of my retainer on frivolous things and wasted time. The second was entirely useless... and then there was Mark. He genuinely cared. He took the time to learn the case from the beginning, in which two years had passed by the time I found him. He worked with me, financially, and fairly for the both of us. I never felt like he utilized my funds towards frivolous time spent. Additionally, he genuinely cared about my case and was dedicated to representing me in the best way he could. We had a tough case, a tough court, and a tough opposing counsel- but he didn’t back down from any of that.
