Mark Jeffrey Babb

In the summer of 2013 I was unfortunately involved in an altercation with a family member. I felt innocent concerning the event, but none-the-less, I ended up spending one night in jail for domestic abuse before being released on my own recconaisance the next day. I was put on a restraining order... not to associate with the other party and not to be in my home. During my one day in jail I met a person who suggested contacting Attorney Babb to represent me. I did meet with Mr. Babb and secured his services to defend me. Attorney Babb immediately began working my case. The restraining order was soon lifted and I began working out of my home again. After several consultations discussing the event, I elected to go with a jury trial. In the period leading up to the pre-trial hearing, Attorney Babb worked diligently on my behalf. At this pre-trial event Attorney Babb secured the complete dismissal of the charges against me. It was a jubilant feeling. I thank Attorney Babb for his efforts leading to my successful defense. I believe him to be a most honest, responsive, caring, and trustworthy person. I recommend Mr. Babb should Criminal Defense actions be required.

Not being from the area with no real ties, when needed a solid defense attorney, I was left on my own. I hired Mark based mainly on reviews found online while still lived in OH. I am glad that I found this review so feel compelled to leave one myself in case anyone finds themselves in a similar circu...mstance. As circumstances are, I had to leave the state for a new job during the case of the trial. I was totally dependent on mark to champion my cause. His breadth of knowledge, passion, and strong desire to stand up in my defense became evident as the trial ensued. In further follow up visits and phone calls Mark stood true to his word to see this through until we achieved the needed end result. I cannot thank Mark enough, he stood with me from beginning to end in a manner others may not have. His conviction was to get my case the ultimate final resolution and would not let go until we did. He did not add fees or change what he was charging instead honored his commitment to me. I recommend him whole heartedly. Not one to extoll the virtues of a defense attorney, but when find someone that truly understands the inner workings of the law then applies such passion to his craft and someone I could entrust it needs to be documented for all to review

When I first stepped in to Mark's office he made me feel comfortable with an uncomfortable situation. Throughout the case he would tell me what he was trying to do and what the prosecution was trying to do. He informed me of the best and worst case scenarios and also told me what was likely going t...o happen. The courts at one point made a big mistake which led to a warrant block on my license. Mark quicky looked into this issue and found out exactly what had happened and worked to correct the mistake. Mark was very knowledgable about the law regarding my case. When I was first charged it was with two 4th degree misdemeanors and the arressting officers said that I was going to be under investigation and facing felony charges. Mark did his job very well and I pled guilty to one minor misdemeanor charge and suffered very minor consequences. Mark is very professional and friendly and the results from my case prove just how successful he is.

Mark Babb is an outstanding criminal defense lawyer. I was looking at losing my job and having a nasty criminal record even though I had never been in trouble before. Mark helped me through the case and got the case reduced almost to nothing. I hope to never need his help again, but I can't recomm...end him enough to anyone who is going through the awful mess that I was.
