I'm not sure where to begin. My wife and I struggled for weeks looking for a family attorney for our custody battle and eventual adoption of my step daughter. We told Rebecca our story and to our surprise, she listened. Every other attorney we spoke to, either said just give up or find a different at...torney. Rebecca is a boss. She's a subject matter expert regarding the legal ins and outs of custody, parenting, etc. She goes out of her way to be the lawyer that a client wants, and crucially, the kind of lawyer that a specific legal issue requires. She has an amazing sense of when to pursue a matter aggre...ssively - and when to let an issue lay undisturbed. I spent the better part of a year working with Rebecca on a difficult custody matter, that was at best a bleak prospect - and she found a way to a positive outcome. Rebecca did a wonderful job for me . A child custody case of my 2 grandsons. It was a little more difficult than most. My daughter was killed in a car accident on Columbia Parkway in Nov of 2020. The father of the boys decided he wanted them. He also hired a attorney a good one I might add. I will sa...y it made me nervous. Rebecca did a great job with representing me. Because of Rebecca, I received the outcome I set out for: Full custody and a massive change to our parenting time schedule (going from 50/50 parenting time to my ex having every other weekend and a mid week dinner)! Rebecca represented me in a post decree modification for change of custody and par...enting time of my two children, ages 8 and 9.
