WORST EXPERIENCE EVER

Not even worth one star. This law firm was totally unethical and unprofessional. I had an appointment with one attorney whom I signed a contract with, and then out of the blue Eppley started working on my case without a sufficient reason why the first attorney I contacted was not working on it. They ...both made me feel like I had a reasonable case, but after two months nothing was done. When I started to push as to what was happening, I was given the reason of his daughter was having surgery...first thing Monday morning, a motion would be filed. By Thursday of the next week I called again and this time was told that his father-in-law was in the hospital. (This was during quarantine, so not sure what that had to do with anything.) I finally sent an email demanding a statement of billable hours, definite timeline, and finally seeking retainer in full back if not compliant. Long story short, this attorney refunded my entire retainer and all files without any argument. Obviously, NO work was even started on my case. After seeking other legal advice, was told that I do NOT have a case at all, and that he does not have a clue what he is doing. This attorney should not be practicing law under any circumstance. Do NOT waste your money, time, or energy with this "attorney".

Horrible!

Hired him to help in a custody battle. He told us he would file for custody for us and it was part of his fee but he never did and he only went to 1 hearing and asked for more money after he didn't even do anything. Please don't waste your money!

I am aware of the "anonymous" client that posted this review . Despite repeatedly warning my client about their behavior in the court room, the client refused to listen to my legal counsel. As a result the court’s ruling was not in their favor. Attempting to modify the court’s decision would have required additional services and filings, and therefore additional fees.

An attorney with compassion

I had a child custody case that needed an attorney who understood the significance of keeping my children safe. I had other attorneys in the past, but none of them seemed to put time in effort in to my case. Attorney Eppley met me on a Saturday afternoon and by early the following week, documents h...ad been drafted. I felt like I could tell Attorney Eppley everything and he made me feel like my children mattered, as if they were his children. I appreciate his knowledge of family law and what he said the process would be lie, was exactly what happened. I am forever grateful for Attorney Eppley and will recommend my friends to him. Oh, and one other thing, he is prompt on returning phone calls and answering his phone even after hours.

Family First is an accurate name for Mark Eppley's firm!

Mark was phenomenal with the handling of my case and special circumstances. He truly allowed me to express what I felt the problems were with my previous attorney, listened and came up with effective, creative solutions, that the courts, and even my ex were agreeable to. Myself, and my children are ...so grateful for everything Mark and Family First has done for us. The relief I have received on a daily basis from having a plan put together that works is more than words could ever express. Thank you! I happily recommend Mark and his firm to my family and friends.

Father's Rights

I found myself in a precarious situation with not being married to the mother of my child, and living in Ohio, and having little to no rights as an unmarried father. I was referred to Mark by one of my friends who had recently dealt with similar circumstances. I did not realize prior to my girlfriend... and I splitting up, how few rights fathers have in most states, especially if you are not married to the mother. Mark really knew his stuff, and it made a huge difference in my case. By really knowing the ins and outs of the law, he was able to fight ridiculous motions from the other side with great finesse. I am truly happy with the outcome, and was honored he would ask me if I would write a review. Highly recommend Mark and Family First Law Offices, everyone at his office is great!!!

Thank you Xan! Father's rights are certainly an area of law that be confusing for the client, and carry a great impact on the child and family unit. Our office enjoyed working with you. We are here for any future needs you may encounter.
