Thankful

My experience heading into divorce is not an usual one. I was scared, nervous, and so hurt that my marriage had failed. I, like many housewives, stayed home to raise four kids and allowed my husband to take care of the finances. (Foolish on my part). So, going into a collaborative agreement was frig...htening. Beth was so patient, knowledgeable, and listened. She truly can get to the heart of things very quickly. What I found so unique about Beth , was as insightful as she is about people, she is also about the law and process. She did not miss a beat. She was ahead of the game the majority of the time. She would be the first one to get things going when things seem to stall out. She gave me the best actions and responses to take to my then husband to create a peaceful conversation. Our divorce has been final for several months. I am so thankful that I had Beth for a great settlement and mostly that I have an amicable relationship with my ex. She created a peaceful and unemotional environment to allow us to move through the process maturely. I will always recommend her as the best attorney. But, I am now glad to call her my friend.

Beth Silverman negotiated a relatively complex divorce for me. She shows significant Insights, both emotional and technical in nature. She seeks to clearly understand the issues in the divorce and the objectives of the person she is representing. Beth worked diligently to bring the proceedings to c...losure with the right amount of counsel and pressure to come to a common settlement. She understands financial matters very well. She made creative recommendations and was very clear in responding to questions. She is a strategic negotiator, looking at finding a reasonable common ground for me. She provided outside resources needed for some special analysis and recommended a final mediation to conclude the negotiations. Beth was very knowledgeable about complex tax and legal issues that were prevalent in my divorce. She was combative when needed but maintained a very collegiate atmosphere with me and with opposing counsel. Beth has an excellent reputation with other members of the Collaborative. Beth was recommended to me by two other friends who had retained her. She exceeded every expectation that I had. Several years after my divorce, I am very thankful for what she negotiated on my behalf. She also talked me off the ledge a few times and helped me keep my composure during the negotiation process. She is an excellent attorney and a pleasure to work with under difficult circumstances. She tried to bring closure to open items and did not drag the negotiations out or prolong meetings. She carefully managed the fee and billing efforts. I can strongly recommend Beth.
