also known as Rick Morgan
Morgan Verkamp LLC's attorneys have represented whistleblowers in federal courts nationwide for 20 years. Our clients include people in the health care and defense industries, among others. We have worked cases which have resulted in hundreds of millions in recoveries for the taxpayers, including two settlements in 2014 which exceeded $100 million. In addition to speaking frequently at False Claims Act seminars, I served as a guest lecturer at Berkeley Boalt Hall College of Law in 2013 and 2014, and at Cornell Law School in 2012. Also in 2012, I joined a group of Australian policy-makers in Brisbane to educate them regarding the False Claims Act. Australia continues to work toward passage of its own qui tam law. I represented two fighter pilots who appeared on 60 Minutes due to concerns about the safety of the F-22 jet, work for a client who is involved in the scientific debate over the risks and benefits of vaccines.
