Wouldn’t hire again

Mr Rosenbauer was rude and condescending towards us during a very stressful time in our lives. We expressed our concerns to him regarding a special circumstance related to the work he was hired to complete for us and he took days to reply/answer on more than one occasion and when he did he was rude a...nd condescending. He did not complete the document the way we initially requested. He expected us to sign a blank document and we had to practically beg for him to add 4 little words to the blank signature page to somewhat identify what was being signed. These words were not even part of the document itself. The process is complete now and we are glad it’s over but as paying clients we are very disappointed in his service.

Thank you for taking the time to post your review and leave your feedback. We take every review that we receive (both positive and negative) very seriously. We understand that it can be frustrating when there are legal requirements/regulations that dictate how paperwork needs to be handled, so we'd be more than happy to schedule a call to discuss the issues you raised in your review. That being said, there are a number of incorrect statements in the review. First, we were hired by another party to prepare this document that required multiple signatures, including yours. We have never met in person, you have never been to our office, and you have never paid us any money for this or any other legal services. The document was multiple pages and has very strict requirements for language, size, length, font, margins, etc. Once it was prepared, the entire document was sent to you (not just a "blank page"). You requested the document be modified in a way that was not necessary to the document and would also cause the document to no longer be in compliance with the county’s legal requirements. Once it was explained why, you again made requests that were not allowed. Additionally, all of the changes requested and/or made to the document were in fact on a part of the document (which is why we must follow the strict rules referenced above). In the end, I believe we came up with a rather clever way to satisfy your concerns while keeping the document in compliance. As far as email communication, I have personally reviewed all email correspondence, and I can assure you that no one in our office was ever rude or disrespectful to you. We did our best to explain what could/couldn't be done with your multiple requests. Additionally, we did notify you after the final change that any additional adjustments would incur extra costs, so that you would not be caught off guard. Regardless, I understand that you were frustrated with the process and the restrictions we had to deal with. Our communication was mostly via email, and I am sure things can get "lost in translation" in messages. We have reached out to you before to invite you to schedule a call with myself to discuss the issues and answer any questions you have. Although we have not heard back from you, that invitation is still open. I'd be more than happy to talk and get on the same page. - Nick Rosenbauer

Outstanding Skills and Personality

I attended a seminar Nick gave in Fairfield. I was very impressed with his knowledge as well as his calm personality. I needed to have my will and trusts updated. He is very good at explaining things. He answered all of my questions without hesitation. I can highly recommend him.

Estate planning and Trust

Nick was amazing to work with and made us feel comfortable dealing with the uncomfortable subject of dealing with wills and trusts. He was thorough and thoughtful through the process. We are so glad to get this taken care of and glad we chose Nick to handle and walk us through the process. My husband... and I highly recommend Rosenbauer Law Office.

A lawyer you can trust with your Trust

We researched local attorneys and sought recommendations from our bank and friends. We ended up interviewing two that specialized in Trusts. Nick took the time to explain the complete process, that it would require work on our part to insure our assets were titled correctly. Specifics we had conc...erning grandchildren were carefully and explicitly covered in the Trust He was very upfront on what the costs and deliverables would be. We wanted to make things as clear and easy for our successor trustees (children) to handle and an attorney that would be there to help them identify what was required. Nick's process was very thorough and insured that we understood all aspects of the Trust and related documents including a very organized Trust book with an introduction that outlined each section in plan English. We recently reviewed the Trust with our children and the book made it very clear to explin how the Trust was structured and their responsibilities. Nick, clearly exceeded our expectations.
