Biography
Thomas J. Diehl, grew up in Centerville, Ohio, graduated from Centerville High School in 1981 and pursued higher education at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 1985. He obtained his Juris Doctorate from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 1988 and has been licensed to practice law in Ohio and the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Ohio, since then. Shortly after, Tom started in private practice with his main office in Lebanon, Ohio and has been there for the past three decades.
Mr. Diehl has represented thousands of clients in personal injury claims, securing over $50 million on their behalf. He has led over 30 jury trials, including cases featured on national platforms like ABC's 20/20 and NPR. His legal expertise is reflected in published cases such as Burnell v. Dulle and Togo International, Inc. v. Mound Steel Corp.
A former acting judge in Warren County Court, Mr. Diehl is deeply involved in legal associations and is a past Treasurer and President of the Warren County Bar Association. He is honored to be a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America, an invitation-only trial lawyer society recognizing less than 0.5% of attorneys nationwide. He is also a member of the Million Dollar Advocate Forum, a group limited to attorneys who have secured million and multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements, has been recognized as one of Ohio’s Top 100 Trial Lawyers by the National Trial Lawyers Association and was featured in the February 26, 2025 edition of The Wall Street Journal as one of the "Most Influential Lawyers in 2025" according to Lawyers of Distinction. His firm, Diehl Law, holds a Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell.

The best lawyer for any auto accident case
His handling of my auto accident case has left me 100% satisfied with the outcome he did all the work and got exactly what was needed for my settlement you cannot go wrong with Tom .

GReat lawyer.
I got hurt after another car crashed into mine (I was actually the passenger). Mr. Diehl sued the driver of the other car who caused the wreck and the insurane company of the driver. It was kinda stressful, but he made me feel comfortable and got a settlement that really helped get me back on track...
