Jonathan jennings never told the court hes my attorney. He never answered a counterclaim against me. He never asked for default judgment like he said he would. He told the disciplinary counsel a protection order was not warranted when he had me sIgn the paperwork for one. He filled out discovery and said he sent it in and never did. I found out over a month later after i terminated him when there was a court date and the other side asked for it. Luckily, the magistrate allowed me more time. He never answered a single email. Instead of owning up to his errors, he lied to the disciplinary counsel when i reported him. Now he continues to send me emails trying to get me to drop the whole thing and in his words find a way to be happy and move on with my life. He messed up a serious case where i am suing for over 25000 for property damage, destruction of timber, etc. I hired jonathan in good faith and paid him a 1000.00. Retainer. He did nothing but cause damage to my case. He could not even answer a simple question of where my fence camera was pointed. I have witnesses who knows jonathan told the magistrate he did not know when the other party falsely accused me of having it pointed at his bedroom window. He told me the magistrate would not look at evidence that day but she looked at my neighbors picture. I had a stroller full of evidence dsipelling the lies against me and jonathan just sat there and did nothing to defend me. I could not go inside the courtroom as when you have an attorney you have to depend on them to do the right thing for you. Jonathan failed. I have had 3 attorneys now tell me he commited legal malpractice. 2 of them even contacted jonathan and told him to do the right thing and return my retainer as he did such a poor job as i was going to use it to pay them a retainer. I have every intention on persuing it. Unfortunately i have to wait to my current case is settled before i can determine how much monetary damage he has caused me. I also hired him to straighten out my mortgage escrow. I had to keep calling myself. For 3 months, he never made a phone call i was told later. After several more letters and phone calls from me to the mortgage company, i finally got it straightened out myself. Now he says i owe him more money as he used up all of my retainer answering my complaints i have filed against him and he cannot see to return any of it out of his goodwill. At this point he can keep it as i intend to persue this further through the court system. What he did not do is basic ohio law 101. I found out later he caused severe damage to other peoples cases also. There are instances where he did not even show up for court. I did not know he was coming to my court date as he never answered an email from me. He did not even tell me when the court date was. I had to look it up in the docket. Looking back, i wish he would have stayed home. He was not getting any paperwork as he never signed on as my attorney. The case said i was pro se when he was my attorney for over 4 months.

Her same complaints to the BBB and Ohio Supreme Court were fully and thoroughly investigated. The Ohio Supreme Court's Office of Disciplinary Counsel wrote: "Our investigation disclosed no ethical violations or improprieties in Attorney Jennings's representation."
