From the moment Dale answered my call on a Sunday afternoon (the day after my arrest), my panic began to subside. This was my first OVI, and I was incredibly distressed. Blowing twice the legal limit, I knew penalties would be severe, but knew nothing about the legal process involved. Dale's steadfast pursuit resulted in a plea bargain in which the OVI was dropped (operating a vehicle with only one functioning taillight is legal in Ohio!), and there are no points on my license.
