I recently contacted Tim Hess about an OVI I was charged with after blowing a .118. It was my first offense and he was able to help me get the charges lowered wit’s only 2pts on my license and no suspension. I got the OVI at the beginning of May and I had my license back by the end of July. Mr. Hess ...was also very accommodating with his price and payment plan. I would highly recommend him to anyone who finds themselves in any DUI type situation.

My son was pulled over for a "no left turn" violation. The officer told my son that he drove up over the curb and was close to hitting pedestrians. My son was going 15-20 MPH and he did not do anything but make an illegal left turn. The officer insisted on a field sobriety test which my son passed.... The officer then insisted on a breathalyzer which my son refused. My son was then arrested and spent a night in jail. We hired Tim and he uncovered the fact that the officer had erased his dash-cam footage because the officer had ran into the curb on the return to the station house, exactly what he claimed my son had done. The officer failed to appear and after many lengthy postponements: Tim was able to convince the judge, based upon the field sobriety test which Nick passed; that the DUI was thrown out and my son was charged only with the traffic violation. I can't thank Tim enough for his skillful handling of the case, which could have gone from bad to worse.

Attorney Hess represented me on a recent OVI case. He went over and above what I believe a typical attorney would have done. From finding a discrepancy in a form, to examination of the whole video, studying the weather and conditions the night in question, he was thorough and not afraid to call out c...lear weaknesses in the prosecutions case. Without getting into details, the result of the case was more than favorable. In good conscience I couldn't allow any of my friends or family that may run into a similar situation to use any other attorney but Tim.

Tim worked very hard to prove that there was not enough evidence to support an OVI charge. He requested the video from the Trooper's car and dissected it at length to fight for me all the way through a suppression hearing and then eventually a bench trial. He also consulted the Ohio State Trooper tra...ining manual and questioned the tactics used to test me and exhausted all avenues of the argument for my innocence. I was so happy that I followed his advice to keep advancing to the next step and was able to beat the OVI avoiding any charge on my record. Also, Tim did not charge any extra fees before the trial even though we had to go to court 6 or 7 times, which I believe is a great courtesy and not standard for some lawyers. He was excellent, and I would highly recommend him to anyone!
