I had a horrible experience with Lindsey representing me for my child custody case. I truly knew I had made a mistake in choosing her when she showed up to the final court case completely unprepared. She was juggling myself and another client, the entire day, barely giving me more than 5 minutes here... and there to discuss my case. My ex's attorney showed up very prepared, and even had a new custody plan completely drafted out... all it needed was my signature. For something as important as a child's well being and what turned out to be a ruling that completely altered our current life situation, you would think she would have devoted a bit more time to ensuring her client was well protected. She was lazy and did even less than what I would consider the minimum to get by at her job. For instance, I just recently found out that my child's father, whom we were fighting for custody, was arrested for an OMVI at the same time that our custody case was going on. She did no research and could have easily used these findings to our benefit. I also provided her extensive information and tools she could have utilized in the case, (journals, texts) but she neglected to follow through with them. She promised to be aggressive and passionate, as we were fighting a very well known, expensive, and tough attorney team... but she was far from invested in my case. I have tried to empathize that maybe she was very busy with other cases, maybe she got bought out by the other party's attorney, or maybe she just sucks at her job. Either way, I know that she did not fight for me and my child. She hand fed me to my ex's attorneys to be ripped to shreds and forced to sign away many of my maternal rights. She allowed me to be intimidated into agreeing to circumstances that I knew were not in my child's best interest. She sat there and watched me cry my eyes out in the court room, and when the magistrate asked what was wrong, she told the magistrate I have allergies. She really let me down... And as the saying goes, "You get what you pay for." Well, I can attest even less expensive attorneys will worker harder than she will. Good luck!

Lindsey handled my custody case and later a civil protection order Lindsey was very professional and dedicated to my cases. Lindsay kept me up to date on all items and got back with me quickly on any questions or concerns that I had. Lindsay was genuinely concerned about my situation and well being.... Lindsay is not one of those attorneys that is looking for a quick buck that will leave you hanging out to dry. Lindsey will get you results .Her fees are reasonable and she will provide u timely invoices that details her work she has done on your case. She went above and beyond on my cases. I will continue to use her if needed for future counsel and will recommend her as the go to attorney to hire.

My situation: Stay at home dad for last 5 years of my marriage (raising 3 children ages 9,8 and 4) while allowing wife of 11 years to pursue and get promoted within increasing income from 50k year to 120k year. I hired Lindsey to file for divorce after fictitious Ex-parte was ordered against me. Li...ndsey represented me for 9 months yet never informed me of my rights under divorce considering my situation, ie spousal support, child custody, child support and property division. While always stating in emails that she would "make sure 13 times i was ok with the settlement before i sign it" she threatened to quit on me if i didnt sign my first decree/settlement offer presented to me. I walked away with nothing other then my half of my wife's 401k plan (i was already going to get this because it was established during our marriage) and 50/50 custody. I lost my home and personal property as well as spousal support and child support because she didn't thoroughly read the decree before i signed it and explain it to me. Run as far away from this firm as quickly as possible as not only did she cause me financial loss, she laid down to the defendants counsel on several occasions. Lindsey seems nice but i believe she is not laid out for this type of work. Save your money and hire a more experienced attorney. you wont regret it.
