Top Notch Elder Law Attorney

Mitch and his staff have an excellent background in Elder Law. I attended a seminar hosted by Mitch in Bellefontaine 5 years ago. Thanks to assistance provided by Cooper, Adel and Associates, my wife and I have a peace of mind that my Mother will be cared for during the remainder of her life thanks... to the estate planning we were able to do with his guidance. Her estate is protected and her wishes for distribution are protected and will be dispersed based on her decisions. Plus we were assisted in the attainment of an Ohio Assisted Living Wavier for her to permit here to reside in an excellent facility. Mitch and his staff have been there whenever we needed guidance. They are Just an email or phone call to answer our questions. Their fees are fixed so there are not surprises down the road.

Very Knowledgeable and Helpful

Yes, I would be happy to recommend Attorney Mitchell Adel to others. He and his staff were very helpful to my family when my mom and dad were in assisted living and the nursing home. Attorney Adel was able to assist us in obtaining veterans benefits for my dad who was a WW II veteran. These benefits... were available to help pay the cost of their long term care and allow their savings to last longer. He also helped us with asset protection planning and we were able to avoid probate.

Relationship: Co-worker

"Mitch Adel is an exceptional elder law attorney. I have worked with Mitch for the past eight years and have personally experienced the superior level of professionalism, responsiveness and creativity he is able to bring to his clients. He is smart, articulate and practical. He works hard to find the best solutions to his clients' situations and works with them with deep understanding and compassion. He explains difficult concepts in a straightforward and simple manner so that his clients have a clear grasp of what and why they are developing planning strategies. Mitch has also developed close relationships with other elder law and estate planning attorneys throughout the country to maintain and enhance his expertise in this critical field. Mitch is extremely conscientious and client-focused. I would give Mitch an unqualified recommendation as an Elder Law Attorney."

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
