Attorney Daniel H. Vu graduated from Miami University, in Oxford Ohio, majoring in Political Science, and obtained his Juris Doctorate from the University of Cincinnati College of Law. After working for a Special Counsel to the Ohio Attorney General, he joined Cooper, Adel & Associates in 2009 and was promoted to Partner in 2015. Dan manages the firm's Monroe Ohio office.
Dan is among a select group of attorneys who are certified as specialists in Elder Law through both the Ohio State Bar Association and the National Elder Law Foundation. He enjoys sharing his knowledge by regularly speaking to groups around Ohio about the proper way to set up an estate plan.
Dan and his wife were born and raised near Cincinnati. They currently live in Fairfield Twp, Ohio and raise one son and one "furry daughter" together. They enjoy frequent visits to local museums and parks. In particular, they are proud members of the historical Cincinnati Museum Center. When not researching the latest estate planning techniques, Dan enjoys taking time to learn more about our country's history. As they say, you can’t know where you are going until you know where you have been.

Victor Medina, Elder law Attorney on Sep 27, 2017
Relationship: Worked together on matter
I've worked with Dan many times over the years on elder law matters. Dan is a bright attorney, knowledgeable on the intricacies of trust-based planning and taxes. I've reached out to Dan in the past with questions I couldn't answer, and have always been impressed with the breadth of his knowledge, as well as the practicality of his strategies.
Mitchell Adel, Elder law Attorney on May 8, 2014
Relationship: Supervised lawyer
For the past four years I have had the pleasure of working with Dan, he has a superior grasp of trust agreements including Ohio's newest Legacy Trust. He is considered a "go to" for negotiations for clients who have estate recovery issues or veterans benefits claims. He has also shown great leadership with his staff. I would recommend Dan for all Elder Law or Estate Planning issues.
