We were very satisfied with the work and advice we were provided. We also appreciated the patience that was demonstrated and understanding of issues that may arise while working with a more senior clientele.
Mr. O'Brien was extremely thorough when going over the requests and questions I had concerning my will. I am divorced, no living children, lots of nieces and nephews some of whom have indicated they expected to receive my estate. This needed to be handled delicately and Mr. O'Brien worded my will so no one can expect but what I chose to leave to specific relatives. I truly appreciate him making certain all of my requests meet legal requirements .
We plan to go on vacation. We plan to have dinner with friends. But when it comes to planning for how we will be taken care of as we advance in age, many of us prefer not to think about it, believing it will somehow all work out. We hope we never need long term care; we hope our family will always be there to take care of us. Hope is not a plan, however, and unfortunately, when when it comes to long term care planning, those who fail to plan are clearly the ones who risk losing the most.
Every adult should have a will to specify what should happen to his/her property at death. A properly drafted will can spare your loved ones uncertainty and stress in a time of grief.

I help individuals and families plan for the future. I help provide the peace of mind that can come from having a durable power of attorney, living will, and health care surrogate designation in place before the onset of illness and possible incapacity. I help individuals accomplish their estate plans through a will. I also help people plan for the devestating cost of long term care in a nursing home.
I have a different kind of law practice. I work from home and meet my clients in their homes. I believe that clients appreciate the convenience of an attorney who comes to them, and they can also be more comfortable discussing the issues of long term care, wills, and what to do before an loved one is unable to handle their own affairs.
I provide personal guidance and counseling in the area of wills and probate, as well as Medicaid planning and special needs planning. I hope to offer you the peace of mind of knowing that you have a plan in place to protect what is important to you, so you can take care the people you love.
