Excellent Legal Help

A good friend of mine recommended that I contact Mr. Abney to review an employment contract that had recently been presented to me. I had never before dealt with this type of contract so naturally I was very anxious about the whole situation. I met with Mr. Abney and he quickly put my mind at ease.... On my first visit, Mr. Abney thoughtfully listened to all of my concerns and then clearly explained all the numerous ways he could be of assistance in dealing with the employment contract. After our initial conversation, I felt completely confident that Mr. Abney would handle all of my concerns regarding the contract efficiently and (most importantly) competently so I hired him. Within a week, Mr. Abney came back to me with a complete review of the contract. He laid out the positives and the negatives and took the time to answer each one of my questions. I was impressed by his knowledge and his experience. Mr. Abney drew upon his vast experience to put my contract into the context of current employment practices which greatly assuaged my trepidations. I cannot recommend Mr. Abney enough. I sincerely promise that it will be worth the time and the effort to contact him about what he can do for you. I know that I would have nobody else represent myself or my family.

Appeals case

Mr. Abney was very helpful as this was my first time to hire a lawyer. He was very easy to talk to, knowledgeable about the kind of case I had and responded to emails in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend him.

Able to smile again

Mr. Abney helped me out of a very unfair situation at work. I was stuck between a rock and a hard place and he was able to find a path out for me. A path that I never would have known was there without his help. My only regret is not calling him sooner. He was referred to me through a friend of m...ine who I confided in and knew what I was going through. Mr. Abney always "kept me in the loop" and never missed a call that he said he would make to me. I feel he always had my best interest at hand. Now, I am employed at another company and could not be happier. I would recommend him to anyone, especially some of my former co-workers.

After returning to work from maternity leave I was greeted with a demotion and a cut in pay. This came as a surprise to me since I had been promoted often and had never had a poor performance review or even a verbal warning in my 5 years of employment. I was referred to Mr. Abney by a close personal ...friend. I was able to speak to him within minutes of getting his contact info. I was extremely upset and did not attempt to hide my emotions when speaking with him initially, he immediately made me feel at ease and assured me he would do everything in his power to right the wrong that had been done to me. Because of the seriousness of my situation Mr. Abney worked late that night, well after his working hours, preparing a letter of intent to file suit to take to my employer that next morning. He kept me informed throughout the week with any communication he had with my employer. Once I received a settlement offer, he went over it and my options thoroughly. I trusted him and the advice he gave. He assured me the settlement and the decision I made was the best possible outcome and he essentially righted a world that had been turned upside down. He has a passion for what he does and he is able to portray that with his obvious dedication and extensive knowledge of employment law.
