Richard Schwartz

I hired Richard Shwartz and associates the end of December 2019 for my daughter. They were nice and communicating well in the beginning but nowhere it is March 25, 2021. When I tell u I barely hear from my daughter lawyer I feel like I’m working for myself and when I call that’s the only time I hear ...front them. I really don’t understand I had high hopes and expectations for this law firm. I never thought I would be dealing with this none communication and moving really slow like my case doesn’t matter I should’ve went somewhere else.

Strung my 79 year old mother out for a year, Got one phone call from firm after many to the firm. Finally they sent a demand letter to insurance company, Insurance refused to pay, Mother received letter that Schwartz no longer her attorney, That's REALLY fighting for the people in MS. Terribly disap...pointed!! Should have called Morgan and Morgan!

I had my car wreck back in April 2019 it is now Oct 2019. I should have something by now. I have called and called and half of the time the case worker doesn't answer the phone and I have called more than 30 times I know b/c they don't answer. Also the told me at the end of July that they have reques...ted my medical records and it take 45 days to receive them so I said ok and I also gave them time. I didn't contact then at all to give them time so when I called it was after 45 days and they still needed some medical records so I took it among myself to fax them the ones they needed. I called back and she stated they had all the records they needed still nothing 3 weeks later not even a phone call with an update. So I called back and now the lady stated she need another medical record after she told me she had everything and she said she will give them a call to see if they sent it. 2 weeks later nothing not even an update. All I want is an update to keep me informed. My cousin had her wreck in July of 2019 and she got her money at the end of Sept 2019. Im still waiting on just an update. I am very furious.

I really had high expectations from this firm after seeing some advertisements and case settlements. Omg I could not be more disappointed in the service they have provided. I understand that my case is not the only case they have, however it's only professional to at least return your client's calls... or answer their emails. They do neither!!! I hired them in February and and never heard anything to this day until I called about 25 times and finally got whom I assume is a assistant or paralegal only to hear "oh i haven't heard anything back from the insurance company" which I later found out was not true. After contacting the Insurance myself, they advised they had responded to my attorney request but never received a reply. So of course I called to confront them about this "lie" only to get a voicemail and no return call or answered email. I know most law firms prioritize their cases in accordance to which ones are going to make them the most money, but it's ridiculous the way this firms treats some of it's clients. Needless to say I fired their ass!!!! So be careful when hiring a firm.

For the the percentage that they are taking out, I should not have to call them repeatedly and then run into receptionists that are always confused and consequently rude because they don't know what they're doing. Also, it's been 6 months already. In that time, I could have worked my own case, with m...y own demands and contacted the insurance company myself and not have had to give up such a huge percentage out of whatever my settlement is going to be. Every time I call there are no clear-cut answers just some general "well we're still working on the case, we'll get back to you" and one of the attorneys constantly tells me that it costs the insurance company money to have a case open so that's a good thing.To the contrary; that's not a good thing, because I need my settlement money too, as in right now. We all have bills so I suppose the only people that have been benefiting from this would be Richard Schwartz and Company in just sitting on my case. For those that say that litigation takes time, my case is a fairly straightforward one and so no, it should not have taken so long.
