Lost my case and from my point of view due to NOT knowing what was in my medical records! He knows social security laws well because he used to work for them, and now I think he still does!! I am having to go through this all over again because of his inability and negligence of my case! I should hav...
It is not possible to guarantee success in any case, and a great many factors will come into play; medical evidence, the person's testimony and which judge is assigned the case. If we are unsuccessful at a hearing before an SSA Administrative Law Judge, we will, if the client wishes, file an appeal with the review board in Washington, DC and Federal court if necessary. We continue to represent the individual on our standard contigent fee basis, so no fees are due during the appeal. I personally meet with any client if the case is unsuccessful to discuss the options. Finally it becomes increasingly difficult to prevail in a case on appeal, and having already spent around 2 years on an average case, it would be extremely foolish to lose a case purposely in order to attempt to win a claim on appeal in order to obtain a higher fee, and I have never done that in my entire career
"Chris is outstanding in his field. He has a depth and breadth of knowledge of the Social Security claim and appeal process beyond any other lawyer I've met. He was a consummate profession to work with and very focused on his client. I now refer any social security work coming my way to him because I know he can do an unsurpassed job for the client. Heartily recommend."
