Biography
Christopher M. Lewis is an Associate Attorney at the Firm and licensed to practice law in Tennessee. He received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Memphis, where he majored in Political Science. Chris graduated with his J.D. from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphrey’s School of Law in May of 2017. During his three years in law school, Chris worked with the Shelby County Public Defender's Office; the Office of the Honorable Magistrate Judge Charmiane Claxton; the Crone Law Firm, and with the legal department at MLGW. Chris also served as a member of the Mock Trial Travel Team and the Black Law Students Association at the Cecil C Humphrey’s School of Law. Before joining the firm as an Associate Attorney, he worked for the Claiborne Ferguson Law Firm as a Brief Writer and then as a Law Clerk. He is also a member of the Tennessee Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Chris brings a new ethics to the firm and believes that solving the hardest problems require the best people, working together with our clients, with the focus on winning.
