Ms. Turner is a respectful and civil attorney, who understands the value of compromise and litigation and knows when to employ either tactic successfully. Ms. Turner believes in keeping her clients as informed as possible, and will ensure they understand their legal options and the real life consequences of each decision. Her job is to assist you in making the absolute best legal decisions for you and your children, not to make these most important life decisions for you. Ms. Turner's goal is to navigate the legal process in such a way that she finds real life, practical solutions to her client's domestic law issues, recognizing that long after the courts and Ms. Turner are out of her client's life, her client's family remains (including exes).
Ms. Turner is an experienced and highly qualified litigator, but recognizes and understands the value of amicable resolutions. She firmly believes it is far better for the people actually going through the conflict to resolve their own disputes with the help of a mediator, if necessary, as opposed to litigating and having just a few hours to present your entire life story and all concerns to a judge that does not know the parties or their children and leaving the most crucial decisions regarding family and life to a complete stranger. As such, Ms. Turner is a trained Rule 31 Mediator and often assists couples in resolving their domestic disputes through mediation. However, Ms. Turner does recognize that not all cases can be resolved at mediation, and she is dedicated and highly skilled at advocating for her clients in the court room and helping to ensure them the best results possible.
Ms. Turner is a graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a Bachelor of Arts and a graduate of the University of Memphis School of Law, receiving her Juris Doctor in 2010. She was admitted to practice law in Tennessee in 2010 and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Tennessee in 2012.
Ms. Turner is currently a member of the American Bar Association, the Tennessee Bar Association, and the Memphis Bar Association. Ms. Turner is also a board member of Junior Achievement in Memphis, TennessMs. Turner is a respectful and civil attorney, who understands the value of compromise and litigation and knows when to employ either tactic successfully. Never Left Me and Fought for 4 Years
I hired Ms. Turner to represent me in a divorce, and my ex-husband and his attorney pulled out every trick in the book. Ms. Turner fought them at every turn, but also kept me calm and focused on my real goals. My divorce was resolved, after about 2 years and 2 hearings (that we won). Then less than 6...

Sarah went above and beyond my expectations!!
I hired Sarah about 5 months ago to alter a existing parenting plan, so I could move out of state with my daughter. Sarah was always professional and polite throughout the entire process and even worked on her off time to help me get my situation resolved in time for me to transfer. (at no extra cha...

Sad
Sarah been communicating with my husband for maybe 3 months now. He paid most of his lawyer fees up front and it takes almost 3 to 4 days before we hear back . When we do hear back from someone its her assistant. She said one thing and here it is 2 month later and we are still at square one . My mo...

Disappointed
I hired Sarah to help me with a custody case, and I explained everything that happened. She said she will do everything she can to help me. After a while she didn't care about my demands nor care about what my children were going through. All she cared about was the money. Long story short it was a ...
I am saddened by your perception of my representation. However, you were awarded custody of all of your children in California, while your ex only received visitation in Tennessee. Your ex also must pay all travel expenses, and provide sufficient notice of same, in order to exercise his visitation. He also receives less than the "standard" number of visitation days per year. However, like all professionals, I too require payment for services rendered. I apologize if this upsets you, but I cannot take care of my family or maintain my legal practice without payment for services rendered. I offered to set up payment arrangements, if that would assist you, but never heard back. I sincerely hope you understand that just as you cannot work without compensation, I cannot either.

"I endorse this lawyer. She has commitment to her clients, to the profession, and to the larger community in which she practices. She is a skilled and dedicated lawyer and an assert to her clients and the legal community"
"I endorse this lawyer. Attorney Turner is an outstanding attorney with an excellent reputation. She is a strong and zealous advocate for her clients and a credit to the legal profession. I highly endorse her."
"I wholeheartedly endorse this lawyer! I first had contact with her as a potential opposing counsel in a case. I contacted her by phone. From that phone call, I was extremely impressed with her professionalism. Often, as older attys we run into young attys who are innapropriately aggressive and often disrespectful. They do not understand the importance of building a strong reputation with other Bar Association members and personnel in the legal community. Sarah, obviously did. I have since been so impressed with her legal skills that I asked her to work with me! There can be no better endorsement!"
