I could have gotten the same deal with a public pretender. I got more info from my probation officer about my case then, I did from Mr baker! I guess my case wasn’t big enough for a Nashville attorney. He plays to politic is all I can tell you and isn’t truthful! Should have stuck with firing him t...he multiple times I tried too. And yes he don’t answer the phone! I feel sorry for is secretary who has to play interference for him! I could have hired a better attorney for a lot less money!

I am currently being represented by Lance. I feel he has dropped the ball for me. I was pulled over in Claiborne County TN for Improper Display and beaten badly after I asked for more officers to come to the scene rather than cooperating with the one female officer, out of fear for my life. I have se...vere disabilities and was talked to in an expotential way. Informed of my disability, The officer continued to hurt me further. Then not inform any of the 'back up' she called for, of my disabilities, just instructed them, get him down get him down. I was having a mental health crisis at that time and their Lieutenants policies do not allow for any time to talk with a person. She acted negligently and caused great harm and lingering traumas. Being beaten up caused a lot more of which she is partly responsible for. I then was jailed, mind you I have a severe tbi with a dai, in other words brain stem injury from partial ejection at 60 mph 10 years ago with documentation that would support proof of mental health crisis and a policy that did not allow for my safety at the time of the incident but allowed for the officers safety. Lance has taken his time. Not communicated with me, lead me to believe he would take my civil case for 9 months only to then decline. Leaving me with almost no time, while I am on bond of 10k for 9 months now. Going on 10. And am just about to have a preliminary hearing. Where in him leaving me without representation after agreeing at first to do so prompted my calls to the City Hall to write up my formal complaint which I took to Lance wanting to file but told him I'd wait to go over it with him. I reached out to Jared Effler who has spoken with Lance about things unbeknownst to me on multiple occasions referring to me and my case. Jared effler offers plea including the felony charge. Upon my first appearance with Lance I stated I had a disability and it would take care of the charge of Retaliation for past actions. Lance ignores my statements that I am not criminally liable for an outburst under a mental health crisis with documentation of such. I declined plea. We now have the preliminary hearing set for the 11th month, 1 month from statute of limitations to file civil and he declines to give me no advice on how to do so on my own after referring me to someone who said no Mr Baker has no bearing over whether or not we take a case. I've also incurred 13-14 new charges in reaching out to the City Hall attempting to file my formal complaint which in our first interaction Lance was to help me with. I didn't come to you a criminal Lance. This is all false charges and tactical delay. I came to you, a victim, and you treated me like I was the criminal they said I was and misrepresented me. Civil Litigation should have been the first thing on their desk Buddy

Lance went above and beyond on my case, and he definitely exceeded my expectations. He was very thorough, not allowing anything to fall through the cracks. He was personable, yet professional and clearly knew what he was doing. I never once felt like he was judging me, and I believe that he genuinely... wanted to help me reach the best possible outcome. I would highly recommend him.
