Baltimore native John Sholly has built a successful legal career following his graduation from Georgetown University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service with a focus on International Politics in 1988. During his time in Washington, D.C., he met Leslie Hunley, a Knoxville native, and they have called Knoxville home since 1990.
John began his career as a Federal Investigator, which paved his path to the University of Tennessee College of Law. He obtained his J.D. in 1994 and went on to serve as a Regulatory Analyst for the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Around this time, John also launched his own legal practice, establishing himself as a solo practitioner by 1996. He continued his public service as a Knox County Judicial Commissioner from 1996 to 1998.
Devoted to his family, John shares his life with Leslie and their five children: Emily, John, Jr., Richard, William, and Lorelei. He is deeply involved in the community, taking an active role in organizations such as the Knights of Columbus, the Optimist Club, and remains a committed member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

He does not care about kids. He doesn't talk to his client and when he does you can tell he doesn't care its all about money. I have been dealing with mr sholly for 6 to 7 years now. I would know.
