Cant say enough to express the level of disdain held for this firm. Hired this Firm in 2025. Paid their fee up front. They promised to have the other party served by thanksgiving. That didn’t happen until February. They have failed to provide copies of court orders after 5 months, which lacking tho...se cost visitation with a child. They charged over 2500$ for a court appearance with no outcome on the matter, they just waived the appearance and reset to a date 6 months out, when it could have been handled that day, again, fees paid without question . Never got to speak with the first “senior” attorney, second “senior” attorney had to recuse do to loosing their license, and third attorney is focused on getting a court to continue the case without dealing with the matters at hand first. This too will cost another $2500. Now they can’t be reached and no return call after giving them nearly 10K$ and leaving 3 messages with the receptionist who promised to send an “urgent” notification to the legal team. Obviously would give a no star review if able, but one is the lowest allowed. Find another firm, don’t waste your time or money with this firm. They are all talk and no or very little action, but they are happy to request and receive one of the highest rates in town based on a shiny ad campaign and promises of aggressive representation. They have allowed being behind the 8 ball for the duration of the relationship, and when they get a surprise, they act outraged, but no counter action. Absolutely not worth the rate or even a small fraction thereof. If you are seeking aggressive legal representation, then pass this firm by. Run Run Run to any other attorney or firm as this one will break promises without reason or explanation and don’t seem to care about their clients at all.

Recently, I found myself looking for a divorce attorney. I interviewed multiple law firms before deciding on Mandy Hancock Law. I couldn't have been more pleased with my decision. From the beginning, Mandy showed that she was much more than just a lawyer. She actually cares. She was compassionate, un...derstanding, and at times, firm. I was never "over billed" as some firms do. I was always able to reach Mandy when I had questions, and if she was busy, Fawn was right there to address my concerns. I would not hesitate to recommend Mandy Hancock Law to anyone needing an attorney. It was the best decision I could have made. Thank you Mandy, Fawn and Ellie for everything you did for me!

Retained Mandy during some pretty continuous times with my ex husband over the children. Not only did Mandy not recognize things like when the judge should have recused himself, she did not use the evidence given to her to get a fair and just outcome for me or the children. She was unprofessional, lo...oked visibly terrible at times, and simply acted as though she didn’t care. She omitted or gave unclear information that would have been other options to explore. She fundamentally and overall did a deplorable job. She charged $5000 retainer but only wanted more money to do the right thing. It was concerning and sad. She has helped make things for my children and myself harder than they ever needed to be. If able I would give her a zero. East TN and Knoxville itself have numerous really great lawyers. She is not one of them in my opinion.
