Mr. DeVore received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Brigham Young University and his Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Tennessee College of Law with a concentration in advocacy and dispute resolution. While at Brigham Young University he was a member of the Phi Alpha Theta National History Honor Society and played the electric bass for his alma mater's Young Ambassador Show Band. Between receiving his undergraduate degree and entering law school, Mr. DeVore assisted thousands of disabled claimants throughout Tennessee and Florida with getting approved for Social Security Disability and Supplemental Security Income benefits. During law school he was on the editorial staff for the Tennessee Journal of Law and Policy and participated in the law school's Public Defender Externship program.

Since graduating from law school Mr. DeVore has continued to represent disabled and injured individuals throughout East Tennessee. He is a member of the Knoxville Bar Association and the National Organization of Social Security Claimants' Representatives (NOSSCR).

A true professional

Mr. DeVore assisted me in my disability claim which was approved in a matter of weeks and not months ( results may vary.) Throughout this process, Mr. DeVore walked me through the process and was always available when I had questions. I’d recommend him for any legal need.

Great Attorney!

We had an urgent situation and the whole family was upset. We then found Attorney DeVore. He met with us the very next day and we hired him. Because of the wonderful job he did, our loved one was back home on the same day as court. He's smart, humble, confident, gracious and knows what he's doing. Those are great attributes! And he's a great lawyer!

So far so good

I am still in the process of trying to get disability. I suffer from extreme PTSD, anxiety disorder and depression. Mr. Devore spent several hours with me while filling out the paperwork to ensure that I was understanding everything that was going on. I have received phone calls several times from his office to make sure everything is getting done. It is clear that he sincerely is wanting to help me. Even though I am still in the process of disability, I am confident that Mr. Devore will continue to do everything in his power to assist me and I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Skilled at people and law.

Mr. Devore was excellent. At every step he gave me confidence that he knew what he was doing, and that the case would have a favorable outcome. I suffer from severe anxiety issues, and Mr. DeVore would carefully monitor my level of comfort, turning the conversation to other topics when I was approaching my limits. I would recommend Mr. DeVore to anyone.

Excellent Attorney

Devin worked so hard to get my disability approved. He even took on my long term disability and he hasn't given up yet. I have one doctor that is so impressed with him that she will be recommending him to her patients.
