EXPERT REPRESENTATION

Last year, We needed a lawyer to defend a DUI and child endangerment charge. Our position was that she was charged needlessly. But the state accepted the charge and we had to go to court. I have experience with legal matters and knew that this case would need an experienced, capable and savy attorn...ey for us to prevail. Therefore, we hired Mr. Ritter. He had a proven history of winning cases and expert representation of his clients. Over the course of the last year, Mr. Ritter used his vast expertise to build a defense against these charges and the results could not have been better. Because of his dogged determination, experience in court room procedure and his desire to put right the matter for his client, all charges were dismissed and the record expunged. If you need a absolute top drawer attorney, look no further than Micheal Ritter. He is simply the best; A lawyers lawyer and the kindest and most honest per you could have representing you. BAR NONE.

Win Win

Mr. Ritter was very honest from start to finish about my case, and while it was extremely difficult (should have been impossible) to overcome the evidence, he was able to get my charge reduced to payment of court costs and a misdemeanor charge. He was extremely patient with me and helped me work out ...a solution to protect my job, and I walked away feeling like I had made a friend! (Like a chameleon, I saw him switch from charming and knowledgeable, to junkyard dog mean) he has the capability to do whatever the case may need at the time to get the best result for his clients.

Mike Ritter / terrible attorney

I hired Mike Ritter as my attorney for a DUI charge... He told me several things that made me choose him as my attorney he informed me that he could win the case because I had to take the sobriety test in flip flops and they couldn't give sobriety test to someone 50 pounds overweight and that they c...ouldn't give sobriety tests with the police car lights on because of the strobe effect he named all these reasons why he could get me out of the DUI charge and then when we would go to court if it was crowded which it always was he wanted to continue the case and then when it came time that the judge decided no more continuances he failed to show up for my preliminary hearing... Which caused my case to get turned over to the grand jury and criminal court... They cut a deal in criminal court so that tells me if he had done his job he could have cut a deal and General Sessions Court and I would not have a permanent scar on my leg from an alcohol detection bracelet that was put on my leg too tight which would have never happened had Mike Ritter done his job.....he has done several people the same way... Do not hire him

Professional misconduct

This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority in 2011.

Temporary Suspension issued in TN, 2011

updated on 03/28/2017

Temporary suspension means an attorney lost his or her license to practice during a disciplinary investigation. The suspension typically expires when the investigation is resolved.

Michael’s comment:

“This was a temporary suspension! A complaint,( that was ultimately DISMISSED) was not answered within the time allotted by the Board of Professional Responsibility. My Mother was in critical condition in Phoenix, Arizona, when the response was due. Upon my return, I contacted the Board, a hearing was held and my license was immediately restored to active.”

Censured issued in TN, 2004

updated on 09/21/2013

When an attorney is censured it means he or she did something wrong but may still practice law. Typically in this case the lawyer's poor behavior is exposed to the public in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.
