Highly recommend Mr. Ritter

I worked with Mr. Ritter recently when my son got tangled up in a mess, and he was wonderfully helpful. He made sure we understood everything that was happening, he took time to listen to all of our concerns, and he worked hard to keep a youthful mistake from wrecking my son's future. So grateful for... his help! I highly recommend him to anyone looking for legal assistance. He is knowledgeable in his field, and will do absolutely everything he can to help!

Very nice and professional highly recommended

Mr. Ritter & his wife are the nicest people I’ve dealt with. I had some serious felony charges and he got them all dismissed with only a year probation. I couldn’t thank him enough. HIGHLY recommend Mr Ritter for any of your needs.

Highly recommend

I helped a friend of mine hire Micheal Ritter for a DUI as well as a violation of probation charge. Mr. Ritter was awesome through the whole case. He always kept us informed as to what was going on through the whole case. My friend was very pleased with the outcome of his case today. I would highly r...ecommend Mr. Ritter for any legal issues you may be having. I am pretty familiar with court proceedings and what not but my friend is not and Mr. Ritter did amazing making sure he knew everything that was happening. If you’re in need of a lawyer call Mr. Ritter he will work with you.

High Recommendation for Criminal Defense Attorney

We had a young family member in trouble-drug charges. He was facing felony charges with the possibility of jail time, steep fines, and loss of voting privileges. We retained Mike Ritter on a friend's recommendation. Good decision. Mike was there to help to ensure his client was not convicted on ques...tionable charges. He is not afraid to question law enforcement behaviors. Mike found holes in the prosecution's case and successfully defended this client. High recommendation for Mike Ritter.

Don’t Be Bitter! Call Mr. Ritter!

Mr. Ritter was by far the best decision I made in my court case! He’s very knowledgeable and tells you everything up front about your case. He knows the ins and outs of the DUI laws and can provide you with best case and worst case scenarios. He works hard for the best case scenario and he knows what... to expect from the opposite side of the case. I highly recommend Mr. Ritter. Alongside his administrative assistant Ms. Summer, they keep you informed and up to date on all your questions and concerns about your case. Don’t settle for bitter, make the call to Mr. Ritter!!!

Professional misconduct

This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority in 2011.

Temporary Suspension issued in TN, 2011

updated on 03/28/2017

Temporary suspension means an attorney lost his or her license to practice during a disciplinary investigation. The suspension typically expires when the investigation is resolved.

Michael’s comment:

“This was a temporary suspension! A complaint,( that was ultimately DISMISSED) was not answered within the time allotted by the Board of Professional Responsibility. My Mother was in critical condition in Phoenix, Arizona, when the response was due. Upon my return, I contacted the Board, a hearing was held and my license was immediately restored to active.”

Censured issued in TN, 2004

updated on 09/21/2013

When an attorney is censured it means he or she did something wrong but may still practice law. Typically in this case the lawyer's poor behavior is exposed to the public in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.
