What an anxious time in my life. I contacted Mr. Stephenson and he returned my call quickly after. I was surprised to hear that he had already familiarized himself with my case before calling to speak with me for the first time. He gave me his honest thoughts on the matter and agreed to be on my team.... We met during lunch and got to know each other face to face (I could tell in the court room, some defendants were meeting their attorneys for the first time minutes before their trial). We established a great working relationship long before my first court appearance. He would lay out all the possible outcomes for me without sugar coating anything or pampering me. Mr. Stephenson was able to get my charge knocked down from a dui which involved an accident with another vehicle to reckless with only 6 months probation and i had to sit through 2 classes.
