Lewis Alvin Williams

I find it difficult to accurately verbalize the debt of my gratitude to Lewis. After consulting with five other attorney's, I hired Lewis to represent me in my rather messy and stressful divorce. Lewis knows how important it is for the client to be aware of the overall process and the various obsta...cles that are possible in a divorce proceeding. Lewis and his assistant, Laura, were quick to respond to any questions I had with answers that not only educated me but also put my mind at ease. Regardless of the fact that my spouse repeatedly tried to draw out or stall the process, Lewis and Laura maintained the forward momentum. Lewis did an excellent job defending me when my spouse made numerous false and ugly accusations. Throughout it all, Lewis conducted himself in a professional manner, kept each court appearance (of which, there were many) on topic, went above and beyond by drafting and submitting all court orders without delay, and received several compliments from the Judge for his professionalism and performance. Unlike my spouse, the Judge never had to openly criticize or chastise my attorney. Lewis and Laura (his assistant) are a wonderful team. In my case, they most definitely set the standard and raised the bar with regards to the level of service that each client should expect to receive from their chosen representative. I received a fair and equitable settlement in my divorce because Lewis was not willing to accept anything less. He effectively protected my rights, ensured that I received the assets that I was entitled to, and did not allow my spouse to leave me with all of the debt. I have already passed his name on to two friends that are considering divorce and I will continue to refer others to him. While my divorce ended up costing me far more than many others that I know (we appeared in court on six occasions for one issue) I am confident that I received the very best representation possible in a divorce that was drawn out by my spouse. The hourly rate charged by Lewis was comparable to the rates quoted by the five other attorneys that I contacted prior to filing the divorce action. I have nothing negative to say about Lewis and I am truly pleased with all of his hard work.
