I was recently arrested and charged with 3rd offence DUI. Technically, the charge should have been 2nd offence considering my first was at the age of 18 and dated back to 1992. The second was in 2008 and was treated as 1st offence. Either way, my court date is scheduled for early next month. Nee...dless to say, I was very scared after the arrest. My son had been picked up & charged w/ aggravated burglary. I immediately got my son out on bond, because I knew that this is something that he would have NEVER done. Upon learning the story behind this charge, as his so-called friend asked him to pawn a laptop for him that he no longer needed becaus...e he didn't have an ID, was here illegally, & needed the money, my son pawned it for him, not knowing the the laptop was stolen in a home invasion. Upon meeting my son, & getting the exact story of what happened from him, along w/ my “Motherly Detective Work”, Mr. Ridings said We can definitely get him cleared of this charge. In our court proceedings, he spoke for us & he delivered without a doubt. Mr. Ridings got my son’s case RETIRED, & after 60 days, he will file to have it Expunged From his record.
