Katja has worked as an attorney in the Finnish Parliament at the Ombudsman’s Office and as a law clerk in a Finnish District court. She has also worked as an attorney in New York and Nashville.

Great attorney

Before hiring Katja I had a few lawyers tell me that this was a difficult case. I was referred to her and immediately thought she was the one that could help. Katja was very helpful through out my whole application process. She always answered any questions I had in a timely manner and always remained optimistic. Absolutely fantastic

I think what sets Katja apart is her knowledge and experience. Yes, I believe having an attorney that went through the process him or herself is invaluable, but Katja also knows the little things that would trip one up during the process. She managed our AOS process, and we consider her family. I cannot say enough. From beginning to end, she was the best aspect of the whole thing, and was able to navigate situations that other attorneys balked at.

Katja Hedding knows what she is doing. She is very knowledgeable on immigration law. She helped me, when nobody else would. I hired Katja after my first consultation. I got my legal status ( u-visa) finally after almost 5 years . Hiring her was the best decision I ever made.

A true gem!

5 Years ago we were introduced to Katja Hedding. I can tell you, she is more than incredible. We are so thankful for her and would recommend her to anyone! The 4 years before we met her, my husband and I had called many attorneys. All of them told us the same thing: “Sorry, we can’t do anything for you.” A very good friend told us that Katja was interested in hearing our story. Even though we were all the way in California we connected. She found a way when many other couldn’t/wouldn’t or wanted! I can not stress enough how great she and her team have been. They were always willing to answer questions and trying to help out. The full process for my husband to finally get his Greencard took a long time due to our situation and every step closer felt so great. Katja and her team helped us prep for the interview so we felt comfortable even when things looked worrysome when there was an unexpected embassy closure she was trying every way possible to get my husband back home! I am so thankful that Katja came into our lives. This situations has brought us so many new excitements and Most of all freedom in life. We are already planning our next family visit abroad.

Great service!

It took less than a year to get my green card! Thanks to Katja Hedding. It was 10-11 months From the time I had my physical to the interview date. It was a great experience for my sister and I, she also received her green card 2 weeks before me. We sent all paperwork almost at the same time to USCIS.

Best attorney for this process

Could not have asked for better lawyer to guide us through the immigration process. Always available to answer questions by phone or email. Spoke Finnish, so no translation svc. of documents needed. Very friendly and did not talk down to us even though we asked same question on occasion.
