When my ex filed for a divorce, I fully believed it would be fair and amicable, because that’s what we agreed to. However, then I received a proposal from her attorney. What she believed to be fair was for me to take on all the debt and for her to take all the equity in the house along with taking th...e kids more than 80% of the time in order to fully maximize her child support payment.
