Any parent who has buried a daughter knows while the pain and heartache never goes away, that a piece of their daughter remains in the grandchildren, that if your fortunate, remain. Only weeks after the sudden death of my 36 year old unmarried daughter, and taking emergency custody for her two child...ren, my 8 year old granddaughter and 3 year old grandson, I was served with papers for custody by my grandson's dead beat dad who had vanished 8 months after he was born.
