IEP Help

Special Needs WIN!

We are parents of children with disabilities that qualify them for Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). We encountered significant IEP hurdles with our school system this year and knew we were in need of an attorney to help us navigate this journey. We couldn't have anyone better on our side tha...n Shane Sears! He was very responsive, extremely knowledgeable, thorough, and successfully helped us in working towards getting the best and most appropriate IEPs in place for our children. Because of his work we were also able to avoid filing Due Process and needing to take our case to court---this also helped preserve an amicable relationship with our school system. I would consider that a huge WIN WIN! I can highly recommend Shane Sears- our family was very blessed to have him advocate for our children!

Excellent Special Education Attorney

I was referred to Mr. Sears by a BCBA that my son is working with. I e-mailed and left and voicemail with Mr. Sears and he called back in what seemed like immediately. He listened to my concerns about my sons education issues with his school and that they were not providing a service that he was enti...tled to and he took on the case. The process took about a month or two and now my son is receiving what he needs at school. He kept me updated with everything that was happening during the process. Mr. Sears was patient and understanding and answered every question and concern that I had and I am very grateful! Thank you for all that you do!
