Now that my divorce and custody hearing are over I am changing my review for this worthless Lawyer. About one month before it was time to go to court after dragging out for almost a year he bailed out on me because I sent him too many emails. I would not have had to send 985 emails had he answered e...ven 20 of those. Fortunately, my ex-husband and I settled without him and I am sure that I got more than I would have. Had he stayed with me. Do not be fooled by the fact that he is a member of a Christian lawyers society, because he does not function as a Christian. Basically all of the emails that he answered for the most part were ones where I offered to send more money and that is what he is all about . The final month of my case which was the most important I was instructed by him to no longer send him emails but to filter them through his assistant Brandy. I sent her five emails within 20 days and got no reply from her either. Then I got a message from him, saying that he was withdrawing from my case. I paid him over $6000 for nothing. Always beware of a lawyer who bites his fingernails to the quick and bounces his leg up and down repeatedly. He had the audacity to say that I had mental problems and I believe the two set above things prove that he also has mental problems , just beware. I paid him for subpoenas that were never done and for many other things that were never accomplished. He says he is overworked, but I say he is lazy and money hungry.

We are Great Grandparents with custody of an 8 yr. old in which the other parties kept nitpicking the court enough to have the Judge keep us coming back for reviews over and over when not necessary. I had two major goals after hiring Brad for this last court appearance and one was to have this case c...losed out of the court, and the other goal was to present a modified child visitation schedule. I got number one goal, but not two. Brad says we will let things calm down a bit and try to work out something between Lawyers and stay out of court. Sounds good to me. A Further note into this review is the excellent work that Kristen (Paralegal) did on this case, I shoved a lot of info and paperwork at her in a short period of time and she handled it all with a high level of professionalism and was very helpful to us and made us feel comfortable switching to Brad.

My divorce case was complicated by my former spouse filing an ex parte order alleging (falsely) that I was a danger to her and my kids because I'm under psychiatric care. I interviewed two other lawyers, one who seemed ready to concede before even starting and another who wanted to jump straight to b...lood and guts warfare. Brad struck the right balance between being willing and able to negotiate a favorable settlement and being willing to fight for me if my spouse refused to budge (which is what ultimately happened). Brad did a very good job explaining what I should expect in my deposition and on the stand. But what was most valuable to me is the way he kept his patience throughout the year-long process, which was filled with lots of delays and unpredictable actions (or inaction) from the court. I consciously tried not to be "that client" who pestered him all the time, but as the months went by and I became more antsy, he stayed level-headed and helped calm me without ever coming off as frustrated or condescending. After numerous delays, the case ultimately went to trial and the judge finally ruled almost three months later. I had my full parental rights restored and standard visitation thanks to his skill and willingness to see things through.
